Bank holiday Monday always presents a good excuse for shopping, and the Club386 team is on hand to help unearth the best bargains in tech.
A top pick for gamers this week is the Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 9070 XT. Arguably the finest Radeon graphics card on the market today, this ‘midrange maestro‘ is now listed at Amazon UK for £659.99, marking the lowest price we’ve ever seen.
Considering this is Sapphire’s flagship model, that’s a great deal for a card that looks the business and is built like a tank.

Nitro+ is worth considering for those hungering for a properly premium pixel pusher. Sapphire boots its value through build quality and welcome bumps in clock speeds. Read our review.
9070 XT has impressed critics and end users alike, but has been beset by stock shortages and inflated prices. Despite launching nearly three months ago, finding one the right side of £700 has been easier said than done.
Putting the current fee into perspective, we can’t find a cheaper 9070 XT at any of the major UK retailers. The best card being the most affordable is something you don’t see every day.
That’s the good news, but there is some bad, too. While UK pricing is the lowest we’ve seen, you will be in for a short wait with Amazon listing delivery estimates as early July at the time of writing. It’s also worth noting regional deals are scarce. The same card fetches €819 at Amazon Germany, or €881 at Amazon France. We’re not out of the woods when it comes to GPU shortages across the globe, but best-ever UK pricing is hopefully a sign of things to come.
To recap, Radeon RX 9070 XT is the best of the AMD’s latest-generation cards, touting 4,096 stream processors and a forward-looking 16GB of GDDR6 memory. Underlying RDNA 4 architecture boasts Team Red’s best raytracing efforts to date, while FSR 4 is welcomed as a worthy competitor to Nvidia DLSS.

Gaming at 4K UHD is within RX 9070 XT’s reach, but ultra-fast QHD gameplay is the sweet spot in my opinion. This card paired to an X3D CPU and, say, a 360Hz QD-OLED monitor, would put you well on the way toward gaming nirvana.
There’s a possibility Radeon RX 9060 XT will shake things up in the mainstream segment when it arrives in just a few weeks’ time, but if you need a fix, and you need it now, the Nitro+ Radeon RX 9070 XT represents a prime choice for latest-gen gaming.
