Prepare yourself for snappy response times, deep blacks, and vibrant colours, all for a bargain price. Right now, you can pick up an MSI MAG 274QP QD-OLED X24 screen for just £269.10, saving you a whopping 40% off its £449 MSRP, and £79.88 off its most recent Amazon price of £348.98.

“Equipped with a 3rd-gen QD-OLED panel and featuring a blazing-fast 240Hz refresh rate, it delivers an elevated gaming experience like never before.”MSI

The specs on offer are fantastic here as well. You get a 27in screen, complete with a 2560×1440 resolution, meaning your games and Windows desktop will look sharp. Importantly, you also get the lightning-fast response time of this QD-OLED panel, with super-quick pixel transitions. Combine that with the 240Hz refresh rate, and you have a screen that’s ideal for fast-paced first-person shooter action.

What’s more, this screen can actively vary its refresh rate in sync with the frames coming out of your GPU, including Nvidia G-Sync compatibility and AMD FreeSync support. Whether you own an AMD or Nvidia GPU, you’ll be able to knock nasty tearing artefacts on the head.

There are loads of other benefits to this QD-OLED panel over the standard IPS tech you usually get at this price. One that you’ll instantly notice is the deep, inky blacks and high contrast, with punchy colours and clear definition in dark areas of your games. There’s a really wide colour gamut as well, with MSI claiming this screen will cover 99% of the DCI-P3 spectrum.

You also get a full three-year warranty, which includes burn-in cover, while MSI’s OLED Care 2.0 tech offers several ways to keep the image on your screen active. On top of all this, you get a decent stand, complete with tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustment, as well a solid port selection. This includes a DisplayPort 1.4a input to hook up to your PC, as well as a pair of HDMI 2.1 connectors for hooking up a console or other devices, with all these ports supporting the 2560×1440 resolution at 240Hz.

Just a couple of years ago, we’d expect a screen with this sort of spec to come with a £700 price tag, so the fact you can pick it up for just £269.10 is phenomenal. You’ll need to be quick about it, though. Amazon says this deal will expire on 26 June, while promotional stock lasts. If you haven’t made the move to an OLED screen yet, now is a fantastic chance to bag one for IPS pricing.
