The H9 Flow RGB is the middle child of NZXT’s H9 Flow family, arriving with a F420 RGB Core single-frame intake block and a F120Q fan, sadly sans any RGB, serving as an exhaust. The pleasure of those LEDs costs an additional $20 relative to the standard H9 Flow, but at this price, it’s a whopping $100 cheaper than the blinged-out H9 Flow RGB+. Given these price differences, the H9 Flow RGB undoubtedly strikes the best balance of value and aesthetics.
This is the the latest version of the H9 Flow RGB, launched in 2025, which brings support for back-connect motherboards as well as far superior cooling capabilities to its predecessor. Most notably on the latter front, the case can now fit a trio of 140mm fans across the top and bottom panels, making for a maximum of ten blowers across your build. There’s support for 420mm radiators across the side and top too, or a CPU cooler measuring up to 165mm tall.
The right-angled intake design not only allows for dual tempered glass panels across the side and front, allowing you to soak in your PC’s internal hardware, but NZXT says it also helps better direct airflow to your GPU. Speaking of which, you’ll be able to fit pixel pushers up to 459mm in length inside this spacious chamber, meaning there’s enough room for the largest GeForce RTX 5090 cards on the market, such as the ROG Astral (359mm), and then some. It’s possible to vertically mount graphics cards inside the H9 Flow RGB as well, but you’ll need to purchase a bracket separately from NZXT.
Measuring 506 x 315 x 481mm, the H9 Flow gives you a large dual-chamber design that should make builds and cable management a doddle. The H9 Flow RGB comes with plenty of Velcro straps to assist with keeping unsightly wiring in check, which should prove particularly useful if you make use of the chassis’ support for up to six 2.5in SSDs, or fancy connecting up to two 3.5in HDDs.
Finally, the case’s I/O panel sits at the bottom of the case’s front, rather than the side, and features two USB 3.2 Type-A ports and a lone USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.
