A non-ridiculous price suddenly makes this laptop a whole lot more appealing.

Here’s a great chance to bag yourself a lovely ultra-portable Apple MacBook Air 13 with an M4 CPU for a bargain price, as you can currently pick up the latest 2025 model for just $749.99. That’s a massive saving of 25% compared to the $999.99 MSRP, and it’s the cheapest ever price for this gorgeous slimline slice of Apple hardware on Amazon.

Remarkably light and just over 11 millimetres thin, MacBook Air fits easily into your on‑the‑go lifestyle — and your bag.” – Apple

That price buys you the base model, which gives you 16GB of RAM and a modest 256GB SSD, which covers the basics. However, it’s also worth bearing in mind that you can’t upgrade the RAM and internal SSD in the MacBook Air yourself, so it’s worth thinking about whether you want to buy a better-specced model now. Thankfully, many of the upgraded models are available at massively reduced prices, too.

For example, a MacBook Air 13 with a 512GB SSD and 24GB of RAM is also going for its cheapest ever price on Amazon. This spec will set you back $1,399.99 if you buy it directly from Apple, but you can currently pick it up for just $1,149.99 in this Amazon deal. What’s more, the discounts apply to every colour on offer. If you prefer a Sky Blue or Midnight MacBook to the classic silver one, then you can still grab yourself a bargain.

Meanwhile, in the UK, you can’t get quite the same level of discount, but the prices are still significantly cheaper than Apple’s MSRP. For example, the base model will set you back £879, saving you £120 on Apple’s £999 direct price.

Of course, you can get superior hardware from a Windows laptop for the same price, especially when it comes to memory and storage, and this is still our recommendation if gaming is a top priority. However, if you want a well-designed, slim and light machine (it’s just 11mm thick) for working on the move, there are good reasons to consider an Apple machine, especially at these prices.

At the top of the list is the usability, stability and efficiency of macOS, of course, but there’s also the handy integration with iPhone and iPad features, as well as the slick physical design of the machine itself. The hardware is solid too, including Apple M4 silicon, balancing high performance with power efficiency – Apple even claims you’ll get 18 hours of battery life from this machine. It’s also powerful enough for some gaming, including running Civilization 7. Meanwhile, the small 13.6in Liquid Retina screen has a high resolution of 2560×1664, giving you a super-sharp pixel density of 224PPI (pixels per inch).

You really can’t argue with these prices either – Apple hardware is famously expensive, but $749.99 is genuinely a great deal for a 2025 MacBook. Grab one now before the prices go up again.
