Gigabyte has announced the availability of a new budget WOLED gaming monitor boasting great specs for the price. For just £379, the GO27Q24G gives you access to a high-refresh QHD display with improved brightness capabilities and reflection handling.
Powered by LG Display’s WOLED panel technology, the GO27Q24G has all you need to enjoy great gaming and content consumption. The 27in QHD (2560×1440) panel runs at 240Hz, with 0.03ms GTG response time and 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. This means clear and vibrant images even during fast movement, on top of OLED’s renowned deep blacks. It also supports both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium VRR technologies for a tear-free experience, too.
To improve brightness, Gigabyte equips this model with LG’s MLA+ (Micro Lens Array Plus) technology, which uses microscopic convex lenses layered inside the OLED screen to redirect light that would otherwise be lost to internal reflections, increasing peak brightness and improving energy efficiency. On top of this, the company is using its HyperNits technology, which is said to boost brightness by up to 30% while preserving critical highlight detail. Users can choose between HyperNits High for maximum brightness or HyperNits Medium for a gentle 20% lift in darker environments.
But wait, there is more. To make sure reflections don’t ruin the fun, Gigabyte equips this monitor with its RealBlack Glossy coating layer, which maintains deep blacks without impacting clarity. Simply put, the GO27Q24G is designed to deliver clear and impactful visuals even under challenging lighting conditions, according to Gigabyte.

Put into numbers, these features allow the GO27Q24G to reach 275nits of brightness in SDR and up to 1,300nits peak brightness in HDR. Speaking of which, it’s DisplayHDR True Black 400-certified, guaranteeing inky blacks at the cost of weaker highlights. And don’t worry about OLED burn-in because Gigabyte has included its AI OLED Care feature, which uses an AI-based algorithm to minimise burn-in risks, complemented by three years of burn-in warranty. The usual user customisable settings are also available, including resolution and aspect control, motion blur reduction, and shadow enhancement.
The GO27Q24G uses a four-sided borderless design that ditches the usual bottom plastic chin for a continuous glass, giving it a bezel-less look. Its compact metal stand is fully adjustable, offering 130mm height, -5° to 21° tilt, 90° pivot, and 15° swivel control. As for I/O, we find one DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.1, one USB Type-C with display alt mode and 15W power delivery, plus a 3.5mm audio jack.

The GO27Q24G is available now at $399.99 in the US and £379.99 in the UK, but the official MSRP is $499. Its current price puts it among the cheapest OLED monitors on the market, low enough to tempt budget gamers.
