A closer look at the all-new MSI Pro Max product series displayed at CES 2026

MSI is intentionally going with an understated design, targeting those who want great performance without the gamery look.

MSI has showcased the new Pro Max series, a unified high-end product lineup built for those who need great performance in an office-suited aesthetic. Guided by a consistent design language and colour palette, the Pro Max offers demanding users a complete set of computer hardware spanning monitors, motherboards, PSUs, chassis, coolers, and even desktop/AIO PCs. We’re at CES 2026 in Las Vegas and had a chance to view the products in person.

As its name conveys, the Pro Max series will sit a step above the existing Pro lineup, offering demanding users performant and clean-looking parts that perfectly fit a professional office setting. Thanks to its subtle white and metal grey accents, a full Pro Max build provides matching products that can be combined into an office-ready machine capable of driving everyday work with ease. As MSI puts it, MAX stands for Modernity, Acceleration, and eXperience.

Starting with ready-to-go solutions, we have the Pro Max 80 AI+ and Pro Max 150 AI+ desktop PCs, which are two performance options for modern workspaces. Both feature a minimalist and elegant design that focuses on precision craftsmanship, showcasing the series’ blend of performance and style.

The Pro Max 80 AI+ and Pro Max 150 AI+ come equipped with AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 300 processors and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX graphics, ensuring optimal efficiency and strong AI acceleration. With the latest hardware under the hood, users should fly through tasks, especially when pairing a Pro Max PC with two or three monitors to enhance productivity.

Performance aside, both models include extensive connectivity, with up to 10 USB Type-A and Type-C ports. Most importantly, these ports can be disabled if needed, providing the additional security required by office environments. Not to forget the usual Kensington lock and chassis-intrusion detection that ensures the system hasn’t been tampered with.

MSI has also launched the Pro Max 271UPXW12G, a 26.5in QD-OLED monitor for PC and Mac users. Once more, this product was designed with performance and style in mind, offering sharp (3840×2160) UHD visuals and a white frame perfectly suited for office desks. In addition to its pure colours, deep blacks, and high 120Hz refresh, this monitor also comes with a seemingly new Anti-Glare Low Reflection (AGLR) surface treatment that is said to reduce reflections while providing better scratch resistance.

While MSI didn’t confirm this, such specs indicate that the company may be using Samsung’s latest fifth-gen QD-OLED panels, which also come with an upgraded 3H surface treatment. If so, you can expect a noticeable improvement in reflection handling, as early comparisons show a great reduction in the magenta/purplish tint under strong ambient light, help maintain good black levels.

But that’s not all, the Pro Max 271UPXW12G also offers Delta-E below 2 colour accuracy and M-Color Mode, allowing seamless colour synchronisation with MacBooks. Brightness and volume can also be adjusted directly via the MacBook’s shortcut keys. Better yet, you can control up to three devices using a single mouse and keyboard set, thanks to the built-in KVM function, perfectly complementing the dual HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4a, and USB Type-C video inputs.

Other Pro Max products

The rest of the Pro Max lineup includes the Pro Max 24 and Pro Max 27 AIO PCs, developed with modern workplace ergonomics and features, the Pro Max X870E-A WIFI motherboard with its Gen 5 PCIe, 5Gb/s LAN, and WiFi 7 connectivity, the Pro Max 1000PL PSU boasting dual 12V-2×6 cables, the Pro Max M15 360 liquid cooler with built-in screen, and lastly, the Pro Max 030 case to fit all the above inside.
