We’ve unearthed two cracking Alienware QD-OLED monitor deals on Amazon UK, with each display falling to its lowest ever price. The screens in question are the pin-sharp AW2725Q at £534.97, and the more budget-friendly AW2725D for £369.97.
Alienware AW2725Q

“Experience ultimate visual fidelity and peak QD-OLED performance in a sleek 27in panel.” – Dell

Staring with the more-premium monitor, the AW2725Q offers up a 27in 4K QD-OLED panel. Displaying such a high resolution on a screen of this size nets excellent pixel density, measuring at 163 pixels per inch (PPI), for a wonderfully sharp and crisp image.
Running at 240Hz, you can expect appreciably smooth motion clarity and low input lag from this display. Hitting 240fps at 4K is no small feat, of course, but there’s no risk of ghosting or other unsightly artefacts at lower frame rates, thanks to the consistently near-instant response times of QD-OLED.
Sharp, smooth, and vibrant, Dell says the AW2725Q’s gamut coverage covers 99% of DCI-P3 complete with Delta E<2 colour accuracy – both great results. The monitor also supports Dolby Vision, for video content and the few games that use this standard. Combine all these qualities with per-pixel local dimming that nets perfect black levels, and you have a seriously engrossing viewing experience on your hands, with rich contrast.
In terms of peripheral connections, there are three 5Gb USB-A ports available across the monitor’s chassis. That’s in addition to a single 5Gb USB-C port that also provides 15W of power delivery. As you’d expect from a high-end display, the screen comes with HDMI 2.1 ports but also features a DisplayPort 1.4 connection. You can pick up this monitor now for just £534.97.

Alienware AW2725D
£369.97
“Unlock breathtaking QD-OLED visuals with this new 27in QHD monitor.” – Dell
For those wanting a QD-OLED monitor without such deep pockets, the AW2725D offers great bang for your buck at just £369.97. This screen rocks a 27in QHD panel with a 280Hz refresh rate, which most mainstream builds should be able to use to its full potential with reasonable settings, especially if you employ helping hands from upscaling and frame generation.
Despite costing less money, Alienware promises the same high level of DCI-P3 coverage and colour accuracy on this monitor as you’ll find on the more-expensive AW2725Q. HDR performance will be comparably punchy too, with both screens boating VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification
The AW2725D also comes with a selection of USB ports to boot, namely a single 5Gb Type-A and Type-C socket, with the latter supporting up to 15W of power delivery. Display inputs won’t leave most wanting either, with two HDMI 2.1 ports and a single DisplayPort 1.4 connector.
