The Club386 team is always keeping its beady eye on tech prices, and we’ve been working overtime in 2023 as red-hot deals continue to demand our attention.

Just days after AMD’s 12-core, 24-thread Ryzen 9 7900 dropped below £400 for the time ever, Intel is firing back with a welcome price cut on Core i5-13600K.

The 14-core, 20-thread Raptor Lake chip is already a Club386 top pick in the mid-range category, yet if the £379 launch price didn’t quite do enough to tickly your fancy, let it be known that said CPU is now down to an all-time-low of £277. Who doesn’t like saving a hundred quid?

Add a B760 motherboard, a terabyte of SSD storage and 32GB of DDR5 memory and you can now put together the crux of an extremely capable PC for a little over £500. With GeForce RTX 4060 Ti imminent, the prospects of high-quality PC gaming for under £1,000 are looking a whole lot brighter.

There’s been good reason to sit out PC upgrades in recent years, but the second half of 2023 is shaping up to be an excellent time to put together an entirely new build. We’ll endeavour to keep bringing you unmissable deals as we find them, in the meantime follow Club386 on Twitter or Facebook to be kept up to date.
