Fallout 76 Nuka-World on Tour free update is now available to explore

Absolutely free... now that's a good price.

Fallout 76 Nuka-World

What do you do when the world as you know it gets blown to smithereens? Bethesda suggests a travelling county fair as a form of entertainment in its wasteland MMORPG that is Fallout 76. Yes, the Nuka-World on Tour update is officially live, folks!

The update brings new gameplay in the form of a Nuka-World theme park and carnival shenanigans that include various carnival games, a trading post with unique gear, prizes and collectables, and even three public events that spawn every 20 minutes in-game.

F76 Tunnel of Love

Calling all lone gunslingers, kicking off the festivities is a Wild West-styled robbery and shootout quest called Most Wanted. For the luck of the draw, a Spin the Wheel event hosted by mascots, Bottle & Cappy, runs players through a gauntlet of demanding challenges, and a Tunnel of Love quest that sees you aid new character, Mr. Lovely, which involves players venturing forth into the tunnels of this fairground icon. Bethesda says “Don’t worry, there’s probably nothing living in those tunnels.” Yeah, right.

F76 Free Cam Mode

Moving on, completing each event unlocks rewards in the form of new weapons, clothing items, and C.A.M.P decorations (it’s like a camp system inspired by Fallout 4 settlements). C.A.M.P also has a few quality-of-life improvements, including free camera controls for easily traversing your camp creations, and improved and updated physics that prevents you from clipping through walls, and the like, when in building mode.

What’s more, there’s a new region boss known as the Titan, exploring the wilds of Appalachia that requires players to team up and defeat.

F76 Nuka Cade

Finally, there’s Nuka-cade attractions that are essentially Fallout counterparts of real-world arcade machines, including Bandit Roundup, Nuka Zapper Race and Whack-a-Commie. Win those games and receive Nuka points to unlock additional prizes at the fairgrounds, and the machines themselves can also be unlocked and added in C.A.M.P mode. Nice.
