It truly pleases me to see QD-OLED monitors become a part of more gaming setups as the panel technology becomes more affordable. Decreases in cost for such screens show no signs of slowing, creating many delightful display deals to feast your eyes on. A studied gander at Amazon and I believe Alienware AW2725DF to be the best of the bunch.

Alienware AW2725DF

Immerse yourself in splendid visuals and thrilling speeds with our fastest QD-OLED gaming monitor.” – Alienware

You can pick up this mighty monitor for $573.15, down 36% ($326.84) from list pricing and marking the lowest ever price AW2725DF has ever been on Amazon US. Meanwhile, in the UK, you can grab this screen for £609.97, saving you 9% (£60.02) versus RRP.

Sporting a native QHD resolution paired with a 360Hz refresh rate, this 27in screen is satisfyingly sharp and smooth to the eye. Speaking from my experience with the same panel on a separate monitor, you can expect an excellent gaming experience with these specifications, providing you have the hardware capable of saturating them.

Alienware claims AW2725DF offers 99.3% DCI-P3 coverage and arrives out of the box with a Delta E<2 accuracy. Unlike backlit alternatives, QD-OLED panels arrive with less panel variance, so you can expect such qualities out of every single unit.

In turn, both SDR and HDR content will look fabulous on AW2725DF. Once you experience the colours and contrast only QD-OLED can provide, it’s difficult to return to even the most high quality of LCD panels. Just make sure to accomodate the monitor’s relatively low brightness best you can, with as dark a viewing environment as possible during use.

Getting AW2725DF to sit just how you’d like it should be easy, thanks to plenty of ergonomic adjustment. The included stand can tilt, swivel, pivot, and is height-adjustable. If you’d rather stick the screen on a monitor arm, you’ll just need a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount.

Note that AW2725DF doesn’t come with a built-in KVM switch, but does include several USB-A ports in addition to a single Type-C. In terms of display connectively, you’ll want to connect your PC(s) to one of the two DisplayPort inputs, while consoles will work just fine via the lone HDMI.
