USB battery packs are now joining PC CPUs in the land of advanced active cooling, as UGREEN has just unveiled a 10,000mAh power bank with its own liquid cooling system at the IFA tradeshow in Berlin.
Despite its slim 16.2mm body, the UGREEN MagFlow Pro Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh 25W features a micro-pump to continually circulate coolant through its liquid channels, and we had the chance to see it for ourselves on the IFA show floor.

The company has christened the cooling system CryoPulse, and says it knocks up to 10°C off peak core temperatures compared to the industry standard. But what’s the benefit? “Heat buildup can trigger throttling and cut short peak performance,” explains UGREEN. Basically, that extra cooling headroom should enable the power bank to charge your device quicker, as it’s more stable and thus able to sustain its peak power output.
This is particularly the case when it’s magnetically attached to a phone for wireless charging, as having one side sandwiched against your phone limits airflow to your battery pack, which can cause it to get hot. “By combining active cooling with passive heat dissipation, a system-level cooling architecture helps Qi2 25W deliver more stable and sustained charging over time,” says the company.
Not only that, but the cooling system could also extend this power bank’s lifespan. “Lithium-ion batteries are susceptible to heat-induced degradation,” says the company. “Prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures, particularly during charging, accelerates irreversible capacity loss and can shorten the battery’s service life.” According to the UGREEN, the CryoPulse system reduces heat buildup in the battery by up to 44%.
Knowing that this is quite a cool (pun intended) feature, UGREEN has also installed a little transparent window over the cooler so you can see it in action. I tried it out, by plugging in my phone, and little light green blobs of coolant did indeed start marching through the channels, as shown in the picture above.
Up to 45W of power is available from the MagFlow Pro Magnetic Power Bank via USB-C, or 25W wirelessly. Three devices can also be charged simultaneously – one through magnetic wireless, one via the integrated USB-C cable, and a third using the secondary USB-C port.
Meanwhile, a pair of 5,000mAh cells give you a total charging capacity of 10,000mAh. That translates into around 1.36 charges for an iPhone 17 Pro Max, or two whole charges for an iPhone Air. According to UGREEN, the MagFlow Pro Magnetic Power Bank can charge an iPhone 17 Pro Max to 50% in around 40 minutes using a Qi wireless connection.
The MagFlow Pro Magnetic Power Bank is available now for an MSRP of €119.99 / £109.99, and UGREEN has also announced several other MagFlow products to accompany it.
MagFlow Pro 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Stand
One of these is the MagFlow Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charging Stand 25W, which features a TEC (thermoelectric cooler) to prevent your phone from overheating while it’s charging. Making use of the Peltier effect, a TEC has a solid-state design with no moving parts. You pass an electrical current through it, and one side will get hot, absorbing heat from the device to which it’s attached, while the other side gets cold.
In this case, a fan is used to keep the hot side under control, and UGREEN describes it as an “ultra-quiet” model rated at 15dBA. The company claims that it measured the temperature of the charger’s magnetic surface at just 11°C. This, says UGREEN, reduced your phone’s charging temperature by up to 18°C, in comparison with a standard charger.
Designed for juicing up your devices at home, the MagFlow Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charging Stand can deliver up to 25W to compatible devices, with UGREEN saying an iPhone 17 Pro Max will charge to 20% in 26 minutes. Your phone attaches magnetically to the angled part at the top, and you can also charge an Apple Watch and a set of Earbuds on the bottom plate.

MagFlow 2-in-1 Foldable Wireless Charger
Finally, there’s a simple portable wireless offering in the form of the MagFlow 2-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Wireless Charger 25W. As its name suggests, this device offers up to 25W of charging power wirelessly, and it can charge both a phone (25W) and a set of earbuds (5W) at the same time.
It folds up to form a lightweight 100g puck you can slip into your pocket. When you need to use it, you can then unfold the device to reveal its two charging surfaces, including a magnetic one for your phone.
