AOC launches a slew of business monitors offering RJ45 and Type-C connectivity

The E4 series brings a lot of configuration variety to suit different professional requirements, from compact high-refresh rate panels to curved KVM-ready solutions.

AOC has announced its new Essential E4 monitor series, focusing on business and professional workers requiring reliable and comfortable solutions for daily use. The lineup includes multiple formats and resolutions to suit a variety of needs, with sizes ranging from 23.8in to 34in ultrawide.

The 10 models each suit different professional requirements, from compact workstations to creative setups. On the low-end, we have 24E4U, delivering basic functionality, 1080p resolution, and a high refresh rate. Above it, there’s Q27E4CV with its LAN and Type-C ports and QHD panel. At the top, CU34E4CW sits strong, packing all the features found in the rest of the series and more.

  • 27E4CV: 27in IPS panel, FHD at 120Hz, 300nits, RJ-45 LAN, USB Type-C with DisplayPort Alt mode and 90W power delivery.
  • Q27E4CV: 27in IPS panel, QHD at 120Hz, 350nits, RJ-45 LAN, USB Type-C with DisplayPort Alt mode and 90W power delivery.

Ultrawide models

  • CU34E4CV: 34in 1500R curved VA panel, WQHD (3440×1440) at 120Hz, 350nits, RJ-45 LAN, dual USB Type-C inputs with KVM switch.
  • CU34E4CW: 34in 1500R curved VA panel, WQHD (3440×1440) at 120Hz, 350nits, RJ-45 LAN, dual USB Type-C inputs with KVM switch, 5MP webcam with Windows Hello facial recognition.

All models feature an integrated USB hub providing up to four 5Gb/s ports, with some adding USB-C connections supporting display and power delivery capabilities. Better yet, select models boast DisplayPort-out ports, allowing display daisy-chaining.

A KVM switch for multi-device control is also available in many models, though only one features a built-in 5MP webcam. To put it simply, if you want USB Type-C connectivity, get a model ending with CV or CW, and if you want a curved panel, get the ones starting with CU.

As for those housing an RJ45 port, they can route the internet connection to a laptop or desktop via the Type-C port. In other words, the Type-C equipped models can power a laptop, receive a video signal, and transmit internet, all at once. These will be a great option for those who like a clean setup, since one cable will manage multiple tasks at once.

All monitors come equipped with adjustable stands, offering 150mm height control alongside tilt, swivel, and pivot. The only outliers are the curved models, which lack pivot but adjust height up to 180mm. In any case, a 100x100mm VESA mount is available if the controls on hand aren’t flexible enough. Lastly, all models are TÜV EyeComfort certified, ensuring comfortable use during extended periods thanks to a reduced blue light and flicker-free technology.

The AOC E4 series will be available from July 2025, backed by a five-year warranty. 24E4U, 27E4U, and Q27E4U are already available at £119, £139, and £169, respectively. 24E4CV and 27E4CV will follow in August 2025 at £169 and £199, with Q27E4CV and CU34E4CV coming in September 2025 at £219 and £289.
