iiyama’s new ProGraphic monitors take aim at creative professionals

Available in 27in and 32in sizes, all iiyama ProGraphic monitors come with IPS Black panels and Pantene Validated certification.

If you’re a creative professional, or simply a stickler for colour accuracy (like me), then allow me to bring these new iiyama ProGraphic monitors to your attention. These screens boast features and specifications that should make handling colour-sensitive workflows a breeze.

The ProGraphic series consists of iiyama’s new HB2701UHSNP-B1 and HB3201UHSNP-B1. Both monitors are identical save for their screen size and price, with the 27in model costing £499, while the larger 32in option costs £699.

Regardless of which model you choose, you’ll have an IPS Black panel at your disposal. What separates this panel technology from its predecessors is its higher contrast ratio, clocking in at 3,000:1 in this case. For context, that’s more typical of VA panels and about three times higher than average IPS panels.

That’s not forgetting the many other bells and whistles boasted by these panels, including 99% DCI-P3 coverage and Delta E <2.0 courtesy of factory calibration. As if those colour credentials weren’t already enough, both ProGraphic monitors are Pantone Validated, meaning they’ll accurately reproduce Pantone Matching System colours.

Both 27in and 32in ProGraphic monitors rock a native 4K panel. As such, you can choose the right screen size for your needs without sacrificing resolution. Whether you’d prefer higher pixel density or a larger display, there’s no incorrect option here.

ProGraphic monitors also come with an anti-glare, low reflective (AGLR) polariser coating. This matte finish promises to do a much better job of removing reflections than older screen coatings, allowing you to focus on your work in bright environments.

Featuring a healthy assortment of USB inputs and a built-in KVM switch, you’ll be able to easily swap between your laptop and workstation as the ProGraphic monitor shares your peripherals across devices. That USB-C dock also comes with 96W of power delivery, a DisplayPort input, and a LAN port, simplifying cable management.

Meanwhile, the stock stand comes with plenty of ergonomic adjustability, including height, pivot, rotation, and swivel. However, you can, of course, swap it out for a VESA-compatible monitor arm.

You can pick up an iiyama ProGraphic HB2701UHSNP-B1 or HB3201UHSNP-B1 direct from Amazon now.
