If you’re looking for a budget graphics card for your gaming PC, then Amazon and MSI have just put up a banger of a GPU deal for Prime Day. You can currently pick up an MSI GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8G Gaming Trio OC card for just £269, saving you £80 on the original £349.99 MSRP for this GPU.

“Provides a solid upgrade path to those still rocking GeForce RTX 30 Series SKUs such as RTX 3060 Ti and even RTX 3070.“ – Read our review.
This isn’t just a basic, entry-level card either, but a fully decked out MSI Trio model. That means you get MSI’s gorgeous triple-fan Tri Frozr 4 cooler attached to it, keeping this card cool and quiet during operation. It looks good too, with slashes of RGB lighting on its front, a glowing MSI badge on the edge, and a dragon cut-out on the backplate.
With all this extra cooling power, MSI has also given the GPU an overclock. Its boost frequency of 2,647MHz is a good 75MHz faster than the standard 2,572MHz boost clock, and you can also unlock an even faster 2,662MHz mode using MSI Center.

Is there a catch? Yes, but it’s one that’s countered by the incredibly low price for this premium card. The catch is that this card only has 8GB of VRAM, rather than the 16GB of memory found on more expensive 5060 Ti cards.
When we first reviewed the 5060 Ti, paying the extra £50 for 8GB more memory was a no-brainer. With 16GB available, you can open up more of the advanced settings in the latest games, while also getting some future proofing. In our own tests we’ve found several games, such as Forza Motorsport and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, perform poorly on 8GB cards unless you lower your graphics settings.
However, due to the current RAM pricing crisis, the 16GB version of this Trio card now costs £595.47 – more than twice as much as the 8GB version, and even the cheapest 16GB 5060 Ti models cost at least £430 now.
As such, you can think of this 8GB MSI Trio card as a super-charged budget gaming GPU. At £269, it’s cheaper than your average RTX 5060, and has the same amount of VRAM, but it has a more powerful GPU. With 4,608 CUDA cores at its disposal, compared to just 3,840 on the 5060, this deal gets you a beefy GPU, as well as a great cooler, for the price of a standard 5060 card.
The last MSI 5060 Ti Prime Day deal we spotted sold out before we’d even finished writing our article about it on Tuesday, so we don’t expect this one to be around for long. If you want a decent budget graphics card for a bargain price, we recommend buying it now rather than later.
