Gigabyte is giving away a custom Resident Evil PC, complete with an Aorus RTX 5080 GPU and X870E motherboard

The Resident Evil diorama atop the PC case is frightfully good, as are the graphics card and motherboard lurking inside it.

Halloween has been and gone, but there’s still time to get in on Gigabyte’s evil season festivities with a PC giveaway you won’t want to miss. The firm has joined forces with Capcom and PC modder Sarah Carlos to craft a scarily good one-of-a-kind case, featuring decor that every Resident Evil fan should appreciate, complete with a high-end Aorus graphics card and motherboard

As someone who loves the Resident Evil series, I greatly appreciate all the details and references that are bursting from the handcrafted diorama atop the PC case. While the models for Dr. Salvador, Nemesis, and the other grizzly ghouls are impressive, it’s the small touches like the bazooka, breakable boxes with trademark yellow tape, and black mould oozing from the building’s rooftop that really sell the passion behind the build.

The PC will come with an Aorus GeForce RTX 5080 Infinity Wood graphics card as well as an X870E Aorus Master X3D Ice motherboard, both high-end and stylish components. Outside of this kit, though, Gigabyte is curiously lax on the finer details of this build, both concerning its construction and the rest of its internal hardware (if any). Even the event’s website still carries clear placeholder text: “This section will highlight the creative inspiration behind the build, along with details on the modding process, custom materials, and design elements used to transform the system into the final showcase piece.”

Regardless, the global competition remains open through November 16, 2026. If you’re at TwitchCon later this month, you’ll have the opportunity to see the PC in person at the Capcom booth (#3925) as well as enter the sweepstakes at the event.

You can enter the competition via its official Gleam page here, and you can expect to know whether you’ve won this system of horrors come November 17.
