Arctic launches new P12 Pro Series fans with excellent cooling chops

Serving as a replacement for existing P12 fans, these blowers promise better cooling at around the same cost.

Arctic has just launched its P12 Pro Series of fans, featuring newly-improved blade and motor designs. Designed with radiators and case fins in mind, these new blowers naturally perform better than their non-Pro predecessors in just about every way you could want them to. Welcomingly, though, this superior performance doesn’t come at any significant cost as they’ll be available for roughly the same price.

There are three models in the P12 Pro lineup: P12 Pro, P12 Pro PST, and P12 Pro A-RGB. These fans are largely identical, with P12 Pro forming the base specification. Opting for P12 Pro PST nets you daisy chainable connections in addition to colourway choices of black or white. P12 Pro A-RGB takes all these features and throws configurable LEDs into the mix.

Regardless of which P12 Pro model you pick, you’ll have the culmination of intensive development and production optimisations by Arctic at your disposal. Thanks to a new low-tolerance fan blade design and controller-motor combination, these fans deliver higher static pressure and a wider RPM range, all while maintaining minimal vibrations. This results in silent operation and long service life, ensuring your system will remain calm and cool for years to come.

Thanks to its much higher 6.9mmH2O static pressure and 77cfm airflow, the P12 Pro leaves its predecessor in the dust, offering nearly double the performance at all ranges. Additionally, the enhanced motor can automatically compensate for speed drops in the event of increased resistance, making the P12 Pro perfect for restricted configurations such as on cooling radiators. Arctic is also launching the P14 Pro Series alongside their P12 siblings, pairing 140mm fans with the same advancements. They’re capable at running as low as 400RPM but can ramp up to 2,500RPM in a pinch. You can expect around 5.2mmH2O worth of static pressure and 110cfm airflow from these bigger blowers. Perhaps they’re arrival indicates Arctic is working on a 420mm addition to its Liquid Freezer III Pro Series. Only time will tell.

Arctic P12 Pro fans are available from today, starting at £7.99 for a single P12 Pro. Moving up to P12 Pro A-RGB will set you back slightly more at £11.49, but the best-value buy is easily the five-pack of P12 Pro PST for £23.49.
