Asus has surpassed Samsung as the global OLED monitor leader in Q3 2025. This share increase comes alongside an overall market growth, fuelled by demand from gamers and professionals.
According to TrendForce’s latest report, global OLED monitor shipments reached roughly 644,000 units in Q3 2025, marking another quarter of rapid growth. Compared to the same period last year, the market enjoyed a significant 65% jump. From the major companies driving this increase, Asus has pushed to the top spot for the first time, relegating Samsung, followed by MSI and LG Electronics.

Asus managed to secure a 21.9% market share in Q3 2025, after years of trailing the Korean giant. The brand’s varied portfolio, which ranges from ROG gaming monitors to the creator-focused ProArt lineup, helped it diversify its offerings and reach different market segments.
Considering ongoing technology innovations, such as the TrueBlack Glossy film, which significantly cuts down on ambient reflections, and this momentum gain becomes understandable. Asus’s strengthened reputation in the mid-to-high OLED segment are expected to help it maintain its first place in Q4 2025.
Samsung, which held first place during the last quarter, is now in second place with an 18% market share. According to TrendForce, the company relied heavily on its established OLED models during the first half of 2025, resulting in stagnating shipment levels. That said, Samsung’s new monitor design, which entered mass production in late Q3, should improve the brand’s performance in Q4, especially as we dive deep into the holiday season. Maybe this will allow it to close the gap.
| Company | Market Share |
| Asus | 21.9% |
| Samsung | 18.0% |
| MSI | 14.4% |
| LG | 12.9% |
| Others | 32.7% |
In third place we find MSI, which moved up from fifth place in 2024. Here, the combination of increased PC graphics performance and the company’s range of 23 OLED-based monitors, especially UHD models, enabled it to attract more users.
Lastly, LG Electronics closes the list in fourth place with a 12.9% share, with the rest of the brands splitting the remaining 32.7%. This is especially surprising considering that its sister company, LG Display, is a dominant maker of large OLED panels. According to TrendForce this performance is due to temporary setbacks caused by production relocation, so volume shipments should return to normal soon.
Considering the accelerating demand for OLED-based monitors, driven by the growing consumer confidence in the technology, TrendForce expects the total 2025 OLED monitor shipments to reach around 2.62 million units, meaning an 84% year-on-year increase. I for one, am on the lookout for an affordable OLED monitor.
