be quiet! brings the style to PC cases and peripherals at Gamescom 2025

One step closer to a full be quiet! system.

be quiet! has presented its latest cutting-edge products at Gamescom 2025, including new chassis, coolers, and peripherals geared for gamers, creators, and enthusiasts. Among these, we have the Light Base 500 LX and Light Base 500 PC cases, the upcoming Pure Loop 3 LX and Pure Loop 3 AIO liquid coolers, plus the Dark Perk gaming mouse.

Light Base 500 chassis series

The star of the show is none other than the brand’s Light Base 500 case series, bringing the same great panoramic design of the Light Base 600 and 900 models, albeit into a smaller size. Like the bigger siblings, the Light Base 500 is built with style, performance, accessibility, and functionality in mind, the company says. It offers robust cooling capabilities with room for up to 12 fans, three of which come filled with reversed blades Light Wings LX or Pure Wings 3 fans, depending on the case model.

Unlike its predecessors, the Light Base 500 angles the side intake fan frame to direct fresh air towards the graphics card, which can potentially improve temperatures. Those wanting even better cooling can always switch to 240 or 360mm liquid cooling systems, without impacting the overall hardware support.

Speaking of which, the Light Base 500 is compatible with up to ATX motherboards and should technically handle at least two 360mm radiators, depending on their thickness. The PSU is once again positioned behind the motherboard tray, in a separate compartment, so compatibility shouldn’t be an issue. Most importantly, it can be adjusted to leave space for backside connector motherboards, so you could build the cleanest machine possible.

be quiet! plans to release two variants of this chassis – the Light Base 500 LX with ARGB fans, an ARGB controller button, plus a 6-port ARGB/fan hub, available in black or white. There’s also the ARGB-less Light Base 500 in black only.

Pure Loop 3 AIO series

Following their introduction at Computex, the Pure Loop 3 LX and Pure Loop 3 AIO liquid coolers represent be quiet’s new standard for performance cooling, combining the brand’s signature near-silent operation with a striking new design centred around customisable RGB flair.

The Pure Loop 3 LX features a state-of-the-art pump powered by a 6-pole motor, ARGB lighting, and customisable foil covers that change the look of the pump cover. The Light Wings LX high-speed fans topping the radiator fins ensure proper thermal dissipation, while the ARGB lighting gives you that extra dash of style. On the other hand, the Pure Loop 3 offers a more accessible option using Pure Wings 3 PWM fans, blending high-speed and low-noise operation at a cheaper price. The Pure Loop 3 LX 360mm and The Pure Loop 3 360mm are set to retail for €119.90 and €104.90, respectively.

Moving to peripherals, be quiet! showcased its Dark Perk mouse series, including the ergonomic Dark Perk Ergo and the symmetrical Dark Perk Sym. Both models are lightweight designs, targeting 55g and featuring a 32,000 DPI sensor and optical Omron switches. Demanding users will also be pleased by the 8,000Hz polling rate in wired and wireless modes.

Dark Mount and Light Mount keyboards

be quiet! also displayed its recently launched Dark Mount and Light Mount mechanical gaming keyboards, featuring the brand’s silent switches, triple-layer sound dampening, and solid aluminium top plates – a combination we found to offer great acoustics and performance. Those who like a little, or a lot, of RGB bling aren’t forgotten either, with the possibility to extensively customise the lighting through the IO Center software. For my part, I prefer the Dark Mount layout customisability, which allows you to move the media keys and numpad where you like.

Seeing how be quiet! continues exploring new market segments, it shouldn’t take long before we can build a full be quiet! PC that includes chassis, coolers, keyboard, mouse, and headset. Perhaps even RAM and motherboard, who knows. And you can bet it would be among the quietest machines you can get.
