As an independent publication, our aim is to inspire tech enthusiasts from all walks of life, helping PC DIYers achieve their goals irrespective of background, demographic or budget. Current Vacancies

Managing Editor

Location: Remote, UK-based

Description: We’re looking for a proactive manager to lead the Club386 editorial team and drive continued growth in our online audience. Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, our candidate should be a strategic thinker with a broad knowledge of PC tech, able to identify key trends and implement a content schedule that engages our core audience.

You will need to be a gifted writer and have the technical knowledge to test and evaluate a wide range of PC hardware. Your expertise will be used to shape output ranging from breaking news to thoughtful guides and in-depth reviews, both on site and across social media.

Working from home, you must be driven and self-motivated to evaluate analytics, pinpoint areas of growth, and implement strategy across the team. Leveraging your industry contacts, you will also represent Club386 at global tech events.

What we’re looking for:

  • First-rate organisation and team management
  • Excellent industry contacts, from PRs to PMs
  • Track record in authoring content of the highest standard
  • Strong understanding of analytical tools and SEO best practices
  • Expert knowledge of PC hardware components
  • Experience of social media platforms and video trends

Tech Writer

Location: Remote, UK-based

Description: Reporting to our hardware editors, you will join a knowledgeable team and craft engaging content ranging from breaking news to high-quality, impartial product reviews. Identifying the hot topics and building PR contacts, you will be an authority on everything from graphics cards to CPU coolers.

Contributing to our daily output, you will also have opportunity to test and evaluate the latest PC components, bringing first-hand experience and opinion to a global audience.

What we’re looking for:

  • Good knowledge of PC hardware components
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and NDAs
  • Familiarity with web-based CMS
  • Photography and video-editing skills
  • At least 18 years of age with full UK driving licence

You’ll be joining a growing team of hard-working, creative people who are committed to making Club386 a fun and enjoyable place to flourish.

The salary range is competitive for both roles and based on suitability and experience. We also offer uncapped leave, trusting our collective team to manage workload.
