Epic Deals Black Friday Header Featuring Cloud Johnny Silverhand, and Dying Light Ghoul.

The Epic Game Store has a Black Friday deal like no other. There are some popular titles already discounted with up to 75% off in the digital store. However, if you act now, you can save an additional 33% per cent off your favourite games with a limitless coupon. This voucher will be available and automatically applied each time you check out.

That’s not all! The digital game store has also boosted Epic Rewards to 10%! Meaning, you get a nifty 10% kick back on every purchase. Of course, there are rules and restrictions in play here, but we’ll break it down for you.

The Black Friday bonanza kicked off on November 21 and ends November 28. The 33% coupon is only applicable to eligible transactions of $14.99/£11.99 or more. This can be for a single title or stacked games that reach this total. Sadly, the coupon is not valid for add-ons like DLC or expansions, or in-game purchases like V-bucks. These specific EA bundles are also out of the question:  EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Edition, Madden NFL 24 Deluxe Edition, and F1 23 Champions Edition. Thankfully, the coupon can be used multiple times for maximum efficacy.

With that said, we’ve scoured the Epic Games Store and found some great deals that offer the best bang for your buck. It also includes some of the latest and greatest titles that we just couldn’t pass up. Let’s get into it!

The best Epic Games Store Black Friday deals are:

CP2077 Phantom Liberty box art featuring custom character and female protagonist V.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty bundle

If you haven’t already, now is the time to delve into Night City. Cyberpunk 2077, after all its missteps, is arguably one of the greatest games in recent years. It’s an open-world, action-adventure RPG from the minds that brought us The Witcher. It features amazing graphics, a nuanced story, and since Update 2.0, the game has flourished into a surprisingly good RPG with tons of customisation.

That’s not all you’re getting with this package. Released in September this year, the Phantom Liberty expansion twists the narrative into a fun little spy-thriller adventure. It adds the militia-ruled district of Dogtown, and takes a deep dive into the shadowy underworld of espionage and political intrigue. It also marks the return of rockerboy Johnny Silverhand – played by Keanu Reeves – and introduces Idris Elba as sleeper agent Solomon Reed. This is a great buy.

CDPR’s stellar return to form is now marked down from £64.99/$79.99 to £45.49/$55.99. Add the additional 33% coupon and get this bundle for only £30.47/37.51. Lest we forget, Epic automatically rewards a 10% kick back you can either stack up, or use on your next purchase. Swell!

Dying Light Bloody Ties Exclusive Black Friday Edition on Epic Games Store.

Dying Light 2 – Black Friday Edition

If zombie survival and post-apocalyptic open worlds are your thing then look no further than Dying Light 2. In this zombified city-scape, you play as Aiden Caldwell, a wandering Pilgrim who delivers goods, brings news, and connects the surviving settlements in a world devastated by a nasty outbreak.

The game has action-RPG styled gameplay with some epic features that will aid you in your fight for humanity. These include upgrades to parkour skills, as well as new found super human abilities, weapon crafting, and up to four-player cooperative multiplayer. Playing with friends is particularly ideal for gamers like me, who get a bit scared at night.

What’s more, this Black Friday bundle comes equipped with the first DLC expansion story – Bloody Ties. Dying Light 2 – Black Friday Edition is currently on sale for 40% off, bringing the total down from £54.99/$59.99 to £32.99/$35.99. Same as before, you can capitalise on a double discounted offer and save an additional 33%, bringing the total down to £22.10 /$24.11. Get it before it’s gone.

Final Fantasy Remix Intergrade Cover Art featuring Cloud Strife and Gang.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade

I know, when it comes to Square Enix and nomenclature, things can get a bit confusing. Basically, Remake Intergrade is a visually enhanced edition of the original Final Fantasy VII Remake. Besides the graphical enhancements and quality-of-life improvements, this version also includes an additional ‘INTERmission’ story arc that expands on side character Yuffie’s background with numerous gameplay additions and goodies.

Other than that, Final Fantasy VII Remake is the first in a planned series of video games remaking the original 1997 classic. It covers the first section of the original game, set in the metropolis, Midgar. Players return as Cloud Strife, a former Shinra soldier turned mercenary, who joins the eco terrorist group Avalanche to fight the evil Shinra Corporation. Shinra has been draining the planet’s life energy for profit. Not a good look for a megacorporation, guys.

Anyways, Square Enix remakes the game from the ground up, including an expanded story, enhanced graphics, a new battle system, and new music from returning series composer Nobuo Uematsu. It’s a great little package, and you should take advantage of yet another double discount deal.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is currently on 50% sale for £34.99/$34.99. As usual, this one is eligible for an additional 33% off at checkout bringing the total down to £23.99/$23.99. Don’t you just love saving a buck?

Alan Wake 2 Dark and dreary shot of Wake in the other place.

Honourable Mentions

After all those double savings, and granted you stacked them you should have about £7.60/$8.50 in Epic Rewards. Good for you! I have a few other fantastic titles worthy a mention. Some might not be on sale, but you can still use that infinite coupon to get at least 33% off in savings! Happy gaming, all.
