Nvidia, AMD, and Intel 12-16GB GPU prices just dropped, starting from £259, if you’re quick

UK retailer Overclockers has knocked down prices of Intel Arc B580 Limited Edition cards, as well as Radeon RX 9060 XT and GeForce RTX 5060 Ti models. Get them while they're hot.

Just as we saw with RAM a couple of weeks ago, Overclockers UK has just discounted a load of sub-£500 GPUs. That means you can now pick up an Intel Arc B580 for £259.99, which is just a tenner more than its MSRP. There are reductions on several 16GB cards as well, including AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti models.

Intel Arc B580 Limited Edition

£299.99 £259.99

“Arc B580 successfully disrupts the established graphics card hierarchy in the sub-£300 space” – Read our Arc B580 review.

The top bargain here is undoubtedly the Intel Arc B580 Limited Edition, which is the budget choice in our guide to buying the best GPU. It’s rare enough to see a new GPU going below the £300 mark these days, so it’s great to see this card dropping under £260. Importantly, this card also comes with 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM, rather than 8GB, which makes this price even more remarkable in the current climate, where DRAM prices have increased astronomically.

Many of the latest games quickly push past the 8GB VRAM barrier once you start raising your graphics settings, and 12GB will put you in good stead to run your games at decent settings, while giving you some future proofing as well. You even get support for multi frame gen now, if you install the Intel MFG driver.

XFX Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB

AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB

£419.99 £374.99

“Packs everything you want in a mainstream graphics card at an affordable price, offering solid performance across the resolution spectrum thanks to a sturdy GPU and ample VRAM capacity.” – Read our 9060 XT review.

If you have a bit more money to spend, then an AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB is absolutely the way to go. Not only does this GPU give you an extra 4GB of VRAM over the Arc B580, but it also has a much more powerful GPU. Starting at £374.99 for an XFX card, it’s currently priced well above the (largely fictional) launch MSRP of £315.99 for a 16GB model, but that’s also a good step below the £400+ 9060 XT 16GB prices we’ve been seeing recently.

We’ve seen depressing reports that AMD is prioritising 8GB GPU production this year, so these 16GB cards may not be around for much longer, and those that are may well be very expensive. It looks as though Overclockers is needing to liquidate a load of stock at the moment, so our advice is to take advantage of this price while you can.

PNY GeForce RTX 5060 Ti

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB

£479.99 £424.99

“Free from the constraints of its precursor’s bandwidth and lower in cost, GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB brings the power of Blackwell to the mainstream with solid results.” – Read our 5060 Ti review.

Finally, we’re very happy to see the price of Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB cards also taking a momentary dive. As with the 9060 XT, this GPU is available in both 8GB and 16GB flavours, but we only recommend buying the 16GB one. That’s a problem when DRAM is now so expensive, but it makes all the difference when it comes to which settings you can enable in the latest games.

Now going for £424.99 if you buy a PNY card, the price is £25 higher than MSRP, but again, that’s lower than some of the prices we’ve seen for this GPU lately (the starting price on Amazon is £449.99 right now). This GPU is generally quicker than the 9060 XT, particularly when it comes to ray tracing, plus it has all the benefits of Nvidia’s DLSS 4.5 suite, including upscaling with the new transformer model, and multi frame gen.

Running Cyberpunk 2077 using upscalers, AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB (highlighted in pink) outputs average frame rates of up to 44fps at FHD and 27fps at QHD, while Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB (highlighted in blue) outputs up to 57fps and 36fps at the same respective resolutions.

As you can see in the graph above, based on testing for our 9060 XT vs 5060 Ti guide, with no frame gen enabled, and either DLSS 4 or FSR 4 upscaling in play, the 5060 Ti achieves superior frame rates to the 9060 XT when running Cyberpunk 2077 with its highly demanding ray tracing Overdrive preset.

While all these GPUs are still above MSRP, the prices are all a fair bit lower than we’ve seen recently. The current crisis around RAM prices has pushed up the cost of GPUs with more than 8GB of VRAM significantly, and we don’t expect these prices to be around for long. When this batch of stock is gone, retailers such as Overclockers will need to buy in more cards, which sadly look set to be priced significantly higher, with budget 16GB cards possibly disappearing altogether later this year.

As such, if you’re looking to buy a new GPU, and don’t have a large amount of money to spend, we recommend taking advantage of these prices while they’re still available. In particular, the Arc B580 price of £259.99 is a genuinely good offer for a 12GB graphics card in these times.
