InWin GX-285 is a PC case that comes with its own arcade games and gamepad

There are three games to choose from on the GX -285, playable either via its IR controller or the large face buttons on the case's front panel.

In our time at the InWin Computex 2026 booth, we came across the GX-285, a PC case featuring an LCD display… and gamepad. Rather than slap a screen on the front panel and call it a day, the company is playing with the diea of creating a more interactive chassis with cute and quaint built-in games.

Looking at the GX-285 head-on, the chassis carries the air of a small CRT with its landscape 10.1in LCD, large black bezels, and built-in audio. The case also resembles a handheld, though far larger, via its inclusion of big, grey face buttons built directly into the front panel. It’s certainly unlike anything we’ve seen before.

During our hands-on, we were able to load up three games, spending an embarrassingly long time feeding fishes in a virtual aquarium. There is some function to all this fun, with system information such as temperature and time cropping up in some instances.

InWin bundles an IR controller with the GX-285, which makes for a more comfortable playing experience. However, don’t expect the pad nor screen to prove capable of playing games outside of those built into the chassis.

Charming as the arcade screen is, we hope it’s possible to use the panel in a more typical fashion, namely as a secondary screen á la other PC cases that feature displays. Much as I love me some interactive animated fish, I’d welcome the ability to display a more utilitarian interface that details my system status.

Shifting attentions to the inside of the GX-285, you can expect to fit ATX motherboards and smaller inside this case. Meanwhile, despite its relatively compact size, there’s a decent amount of space for CPU coolers and GPUs, at 160mm and 410mm, respectively.

In terms of airflow, you can fit up to a 360mm radiator in either the top or bottom of the GX-285, with space for another 280mm in the side. Alternatively, you could fit several 120mm or 140mm fans in the same space.

It’s unclear whether InWin plans to launch the GX-285 as a retail product or if this is a concept piece. Should the chassis come to market, though, it’ll prove a truly unique offering.
