Montech debuts $59 TG3 PC case that promises to be a high-value hero for budget gamers

While the $59 TG3 is undeniably attractive, the more-premium $79 TG3 Curved ups the ante for those with want a little extra visual splendour.

In world where internal component costs continue to rise, saving some cash on your case is a smart move, making affordable but high-quality offeringlike Montech TG3 an attractive proposition. Starting from just $59, this chassis arrives with multiple RGB fans, tempered glass side panels, with a more-premium option available to those with slightly larger budgets too.

The Montech TG3 is available in either black or white, with front and side tempered glass panels, and is capable of supporting ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards. As a welcome plus, the case also has cut outs for back-connect boards too.

There’s room enough in the inner chamber for a CPU cooler 180mm in height, GPU’s that are 430mm long, as well as a 250mm ATX PSU. For those of you still rocking 2.5/3.5in storage, the TG3 can support 1-2 drives.

As part of that $59, the TG3 comes bundled with a single 120mm exhaust and a 360mm fan frame intake. Montech’s even found room to include ARGB LEDs on these blowers, further adding to their value.

Building up from those fans, it’s possible to install two 120mms on top of the PSU shroud, which comes with a small RGB strip to further add to your PC’s light show. In terms of radiators, there’s room enough for a 360mm model up top, with support for a 240mm on the side and 120mm round back if you remove the preinstalled blowers.

For those that can afford to spend a liittle extra, Montech also has a TG3 Curved case in the works which will retail for $79. For that extra $20, you’ll swap the sharp corner of the base model’s tempered glass for a curved one, but you’re still working with two separate panels.

You’ll also have more lighting at your disposal, via two RGB LED strips that each run along the top and bottom of the case. Montech conveniently powers the topmost line of light via pogo pins, so there are no fussy cables to deal with if you ever need to pop the top panel off.
