Sony is celebrating the holiday season by providing a month of exciting activities for its PlayStation community. Until January 5, 2024, you can redeem a few goodies on PlayStation, join eSports tournaments, enter competitions, and much more.
Kicking things off, players can redeem a voucher code for new avatars inspired by popular titles. Ghost of Tsushima, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, and Final Fantasy VII Remake are highlights among the list, plus many more to come. Both PS4 and PS5 users are eligible for these rewards, and you can redeem them directly from the console store page. Gotta catch em all!
Next on the list is a cool 15% discount on all PlayStation Gear. The PlayStation store has a wide variety of swanky PS Branded clothing, ranging from hats, to crewnecks, jumpers and hoodies. Simply add them to your cart, and apply the ‘SEASONOFPLAY15,’ for that extra savings.
From December 19, 2023 till January 5, 2024, you can enter a competition to win a digital PS5 bundle. The bundle includes 12 months of PS Plus Premium subscription for access to a large Game and Classics catalogue. Once the campaign goes live, save and follow this link, answer five simple questions, and voila! Don’t forget to check your country’s eligibility as well. Best of luck to all participating. Festive Tournaments
The biggest of the bunch is a string of PlayStation Tournaments that will take place between December 12 and December 17. Players can test their skills in a good few sports titles including the following:
- EA Sports FC 24
- NBA 2K24
- Madden NFL 24
- MLB the Show 23
Entrants will also be added to a draw for a chance win Premium/Deluxe memberships and yet another chance to win a digital edition PS5 console. Sadly, there’s no love for my fellow FPS tournament aficionados. As a consolation prize, there’s a free multiplayer weekend that starts on December 9 for a chance to try out COD: Modern Warfare 3 and more.
There are also some exclusive rewards for loyal PS Plus Members. Members of the exclusive PlayStation Stars rewards program can earn bonus points by simply playing the free PS Plus games for December. These include Lego 2K Drive, Powerwash Simulator, and Sable.
Finally, PS Plus members who use Sony Pictures Core will get additional discounts on certain on-demand titles throughout the festive season. Premium members have the added bonus to stream a selection of titles on Crunchyroll, if anime is your thing.
