Razer has released its Phantom Collection, introducing a translucent colourway to several of its popular peripherals. Rather than adopt a clear plastic finish, though, the brand opts for a green tint that evokes its trademark colour preference. The end result gives modern hardware the appearance of tech straight out of the late 90’s and early naughties.
Basilisk V3 Pro 35K – Phantom Green Edition
Headlining the Phantom Collection is Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K at $169.99. This particular model and other members of the translucent brigade rock a ‘Phantom Green Edition’ title. Outside of changes in appearance, it’s the same ergonomic gaming mouse underneath.

Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K uses the brand’s Gen-2 Focus Pro 35K optical sensor and Gen-3 optical switches, promising excellent accuracy and fast actuations. The mouse’s 12-zone Chroma lightning diffuses brilliantly through the translucent chassis, shooting out of the shell from all sides. If you’re after a flashy wireless clicker that’s performant as it is pretty then this could be what you’re looking.
BlackWidow V4 75% – Phantom Green Edition
Next, there’s BlackWidow V4 75% – Phantom Green Edition for $199.99. This is a compact keyboard, now boasting a gasket-mounted platform within a translucent ABS chassis. Equipped with tape-enhanced PCB for improved acoustics, hot-swappable switch sockets, dual-layer foam for sound dampening, factory-lubricated plate-mount stabilisers, and a magnetic wrist rest, this keyboard packs plenty of comfort.

Gamers should also appreciate the signature tactile feedback of the Gen-3 Razer Orange Tactile Mechanical Switches, as much as the amplified per-key Chroma effects courtesy of the translucent keycaps.
Barracuda X Chroma – Phantom Green Edition
Razer hasn’t forgotten audio enthusiasts either, as Barracuda X Chroma receives the Phantom Green Edition treatment. The company claims you should expect around 70 hours of use sans any RGB, but uptime falls dramatically to 30 hours once the light show gets going.

Most importantly, long listening sessions should be very comfortable thanks to breathable memory foam and a weight of just 285g. Like the original headset, these cans come equipped with the Razer’s TriForce 40mm drivers plus a detachable HyperClear Cardioid mic, which should deliver great sound quality and crystal-clear communication. You can pick it up for $139.99.
Firefly V2 Pro – Phantom Green Edition
The Firefly V2 Pro – Phantom Green Edition completes the collection, bringing LED-backlight to your mouse pad at a cost of $109.99. Razer has made the pad’s light circuitry transparent, exposing the PCB, while a micro-textured surface ensures optimal sensor tracking.

You can customise the pad’s multi-zone lighting effects via Razer Synapse, including synchronisation with the rest of the Phantom gear. Lastly, a USB 2.0 passthrough port is available close by to conveniently hook up the mouse’s wireless dongle.
