Endorfy has announced the Solum 2 microphone series, targeting gamers and content creators wanting to improve their recording quality, but without paying over the odds. Starting at €59.90, the lineup is based on a high-quality condenser capsule, which the company says is designed to deliver natural voice tones with studio-grade fidelity.
The Solum 2 series includes three slightly different models: the Solum 2 Core, Solum 2, and Solum 2 Pro. All feature a condenser capsule and a cardioid polar pattern, said to bring out the user’s voice while reducing the impact of ambient sound. All the Solum 2 modules can record at a 24-bit sample resolution, giving you a high dynamic range. Meanwhile, sample rates top out at 96kHz on the Solum 2 and Core, while the Solum 2 Pro can go all the way up to 192kHz.
On top of this, the Solum 2 series uses several layers of interference protection that Endorfy says will block external sounds before they even reach the capsule. This includes a front metal pop filter, a custom-designed shock mount, and an internal foam filter. For the best voice clarity, Endorfy recommends sitting at a 10-25cm distance in front of the microphone.

All models feature a microphone mute button on the top, so you can cut out sound easily and silently. Meanwhile, a discreet LED indicator on the front of the housing shows whether the device is active or muted at a glance. You won’t need any software, drivers, or tuning to take advantage of all of the above either, as the Solum 2 series is designed to offer a seamless plug-and-play experience via USB.
That’s regardless of your preferred platform too, since the Solum 2 microphones are compatible with Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS, as well as PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. You can even hook it up to smartphones and tablets that support USB-C OTG.

Similarities aside, the main difference between the Solum 2 models is as follows. The Solum 2 Core focuses on audio quality without extra frills, thanks to its aforementioned 96kHz sampling rate and lack of fancy RGB or volume dials. The Solum 2 keeps the same sampling rate but integrates a control knob on the bottom, useful for volume and sensitivity control. Lastly, the Solum 2 Pro boosts sampling rates up to 192kHz while adding touch sensitivity to the knob, plus a 3.5mm jack for zero-latency voice monitoring.
The company says it’s aiming to achieve “the perfect balance between budget and premium brands,” offering “high-quality performance at an affordable price.” Endorfy is launching the Solum 2 Core, Solum 2, and Solum 2 Pro at €59.90, €69.90, and €82.90, respectively, backed by a two-year warranty.
