AOC has announced a new QD-OLED monitor that offers one of the best combinations of specs currently available. With its high PPI (Pixel Per Inch) panel and leading performance characteristics, Agon Pro AG276UZD could easily become a crowd favourite.
Agon Pro AG276UZD builds on the path Agon Pro AG276QZD2 paved, pushing resolution further while keeping the same high refresh rate. Its 26.5in 3rd-gen QD-OLED panel is plenty sharp sharpness at 166 PPI. Add to this a 4K (3840×2160) resolution plus a glossy finish, and you get top-notch image clarity.

Though a matte finish is preferable in lit environments due to its better reflection handling, some users still prefer a glossy finish, going as far as to optimise the monitor’s location to reduce any unwanted reflections. Considering QD-OLED’s larger colour gamut, covering 99.3% of DCI-P3 and 145.9% of sRGB in this case, AOC seems to have opted for the best option to deliver the best experience. Add to that outstanding black levels, as indicated by its VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, and you have a would-be content consumption king.

But that’s not all, gamers will also have a field day with this monitor thanks to its 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms GtG pixel response time. This is as good as as it gets on a 4K QD-OLED, making the AG276UZD viable for any game genre. Although, you will need nothing short of an RTX 5090 to hit its maximum refresh rate in today’s most-demanding games.

Another aspect that would please many is the inclusion of a USB hub and a KVM switch, allowing the multitaskers to boost their productivity by using the AG276UZD in PiP (picture in picture) or PbP (picture by picture) modes. In terms of video inputs, you will find two HDMI 2.1, one DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR 20, plus one USB 3.2 Type-C with DP alt mode and 65W power delivery. A robust stand complements this assortment, supporting 3.5° to 21.5° tilt, 18.5° swivel, 90° pivot, and 130mm height adjustments.
Agon Pro AG276UZD seems like a clear improvement over its sibling, providing a higher resolution and pixel density. However, it retains much of what it made its forebear special, namely excellent colour reproduction and response times thanks to its QD-OLED panel. AOC plans to launch the monitor in June 2025 for £719, backed by a three-year warranty.
