Biwin makes big moves with new NVMe SSDs and DDR5 RAM

There is something for everyone.

Biwin has presented its latest products during Computex 2025, showcasing its expertise in flash-based solutions. Part of its consumer-facing portfolio, these RAM and storage solutions blend the speed, design, and reliability demanded by cutting-edge PC builds. The brand has plans to cover all market segments, from competitive gamers to creators and hardcore overclockers.

Biwin Black Opal SSDs

Starting with storage, we have three very compelling options that should satisfy even the most demanding users. X570H Pro, X570 Pro, and X570 are all PCIe 5.0 M.2 SSDs available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities.

X570H Pro

X570H Pro sits at the top of the stack, boasting up to 14,000MB/s sequential read and 13,000MB/s sequential write. It comes equipped with a nice-looking white heatsink that should fit in any motherboard without issue. All variants are backed by a five-year warranty, with a respective 750 TBW, 1,500 TBW, and 3,000 TBW durability rating on the 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB models.

X570 Pro

X570 Pro retains all the strengths of its bigger sibling, while offering a removable, optional heatsink. It uses a 6nm controller and eight-channel architecture to maximise data throughput while maintaining efficiency. This makes it compatible with size-constrained devices such as laptops, without impacting performance. That said, the drive may rely on your machine’s cooling to keep temperatures in check.

The brand announces identical performance to X570H Pro, i.e. up to 14,000MB/s read and 13,000MB/s write. Same goes for durability, with 750 TBW, 1,500 TBW, and 3,000 TBW respectively on the 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB models, backed by a five-year warranty. It is also rated for up to 2,000,000 random read IOPS, helped by up to 4GB of DRAM cache.

X570

Targeting those with a tighter budget, X570 is surprisingly performant. Built around a DRAM-less controller, this SSD is claimed to reach even faster read speeds of 14,500MB/s, with a slight dip in sequential write, down to 11,000MB/s. That said, random read and write figures may show a larger hit. Nevertheless, for a DRAM-less solution, X570 is an impressive storage option. Assuming the price is lowered accordingly, this affordable option could end up being the most attractive.

Regarding reliability, the brand announces 600 TBW, 1,200 TBW, and 2,400 TBW, respectively on the 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB models. Again, all are backed by a five-year warranty.

Biwin RAM

On the memory side, Biwin showcased plenty of DDR5 kits, offering a combination of low-latency, high-capacity, and extreme speeds. The brand expects these to reach up to 9,900MT/s, with maximum kit capacities up to 256GB.

DW100 DDR5 RGB

Covering the high-end, the DW100 lineup boasts some of the fastest kits you can buy with speeds ranging from 6,000MT/s up to 8,400MT/s, and timings between CL26 and CL40. You can choose between 2x16GB, 2x48GB, and 2x32GB kits, all topped by a defused RGB light. In terms of operating voltages, we have 1.35V, 1.40V, and 1.45V depending on each kit’s configuration.

Note that the brand demoed some more impressive options, including an 8,800MT/s kit on Intel platforms, a 256GB 6,400MT/s CL32 kit on AMD’s AM5, and a 192GB 6,400MT/s kit with even tighter CL28 timings. Lastly, Biwin indicates that its Black Opal OC Gold memory is hand-screened for faster performance.

HX100 DDR5

The HX100 series is tailored for those who want practicality above all. This means no RGB bling, and no absurd speeds. You get configurations that most users would want, and most importantly, ones that current systems have a better chance of handling.

That said, these are no slouches, offering between 6,000MT/s and 7,200MT/s in capacities reaching 64GB (2x32GB). Depending on the kit, timings can hit as low as CL28 or as high as CL36, both of which are quite good. If you have no plans of beating world records, this series is all you need.
