Intel’s latest processors aren’t quite a revolution, but they grant a nice generational uplift. The only issue with them is their lofty asking price. Fortunately, the Intel Core i7-14700KF has come crashing down to its lowest price yet, giving the CPU some much-needed value.

Over on Amazon, US residents net a neat 11% discount, bringing the Core i7-14700KF to $384.99. The deal is no more than a day old and there’s no telling when it’ll shoot right back up again. UK shoppers can get the same chip for £371.88. It’s closer to a 7% reduction than the 4% shown on the site, but still the best price yet in both regions.

It might not seem like the biggest drop, but it’s comparatively massive considering the chip is just two months old. Core i7-14700KF packs 20 cores split between eight P-cores for performance and 12 E-cores for efficient tasks. You can even overclock the clock speed of the KF model up to 5.6GHz.

The only difference between this and our best CPU for premium builds is that the KF variant doesn’t have integrated graphics. It’s hardly a dealbreaker if you use a dedicated graphics card, however.

Strangely, this isn’t the only processor featuring the lowest discount we’ve seen. Intel Core i9-14900KF sports a 15% discount at $529.99 in the US and a 3% drop to £535.14 in the UK. This chip has four extra E-cores, 32 threads, and an industry-leading 6GHz max boost clock.

Saving a bit of money gives you room to grab an LGA 1700 motherboard if you don’t already have one, some DDR5 RAM, or the best CPU cooler to keep temperatures low. Keep in mind the 125W base power, though, as you might need a beefier power supply to feed them.

We recommend subscribing to Amazon Prime to get free delivery with your processor. You might even get it much faster than usual. In fact, there are several benefits included in an Amazon Prime membership, including video streaming, music, podcasts, and better discounts.
