Building on the essentials in an office setup, the latest ProLite XUB2790QSUH is an adequately-sized 27in monitor with built-in collaboration tools. Its integrated 5MP Windows Hello webcam and mic simplifies your life by allowing seamless and secure session logins while providing a robust interface for video calls. It does so while maintaining comfortable all-day use, thanks to its flicker-free, low blue-light screen, and fully adjustable stand. There’s also an integrated KVM, making the monitor a great choice for multitaskers who like to switch between different PCs. As usual with the ProLite lineup, there are no flashy LEDs or obnoxious logo placements, just a sleek-looking monitor.
Within the clean design we find a 2560×1440 QHD IPS panel running at 100Hz, giving owners a nice boost in smoothness compared to typical 60Hz panels. This should help you maintain a healthy and comfortable posture all day long, or at least prevent you from practicing the shrimp sitting position. Moving to connectivity, we find one HDMI 2.0, one DisplayPort 1.4, one USB Type-C with DP Alt mode and 65W power delivery, a 3.5mm headphone jack, plus a three-port USB 3.2 5Gb/s hub. The latter goes hand in hand with the built-in KVM switch, making multi-machine control simpler. Though note that there is no mention of Picture by Picture or Picture in Picture modes.
