Nvidia is giving away an RTX 5090 FE with Superman art signed by DC’s Jim Lee

RTX 5090 is out of my budget, but a splash of my favourite superhero might be my Kryptonite.

Nvidia has added a unique lot to its ongoing summer giveaway, celebrating the new Superman film premiering July 11, 2025. This one‑of‑a‑kind offering is a hand‑painted GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition graphics card, featuring iconic artwork of Superman alongside his companion, Krypto. The card features artwork personally painted and signed by Jim Lee, President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics, making it a true collector’s piece.

Jim Lee brought the card to life using acrylic paint, drawing Superman and his loyal companion on each section of the card’s backplate. He completed the piece with his signature on the card’s side, near the IO shield, transforming this cutting-edge hardware into a one-of-a-kind work that would make for a rig that’s out of this world. With a melting point of 160°C, it’d take Superman’s heat vision to melt this off, so you’ve no need to worry.

As a dog person, I find the inclusion of Krypto alongside the Man of Steel excellent, shedding some light on man’s faithful friend, while adding a nod to fans of DC’s broader universe. Hopefully, James Gunn’s new Superman film will also end up as good as Lee’s art. At least the cast seems promising, with David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane.

You won’t need hope to know that games will run, since RTX 5090 is simply the fastest gaming GPU you can get. Powered by Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture, the card boasts 21,760 CUDA cores alongside 32GB of fast 28Gb/s GDDR7 memory, which translates into a whopping 1,792GB/s of bandwidth. Based on our testing at 4K resolution, you can expect 150fps on average in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, 87fps in Forza Motorsport, and 147fps in Black Ops 6, to name a few. Just make sure your PSU can handle its 575W.

To enter, you only need to visit Nvidia’s official social media accounts and follow the instructions. No purchases is necessary, and winners will be selected randomly from the qualifying entries. The giveaway is only available in some countries, so make sure to check that your region is elgible to enter here. In case this $2,000 isn’t to your satisfaction, Nvidia is also including other prizes, from the likes of Falcon NW, Maingear, and Origin.

Whether you’re a PC enthusiast, a Superman fan, or both, this custom RTX 5090 is a spectacular intersection between hardware and comics art, which one lucky winner will get to call their own. Best of luck to all those entering!
