All in all, not that egregious.

At CES 2024, Nvidia revealed the GeForce RTX 4000 Super series GPUs. It turns out, custom AIB models might come in as close to MSRP as possible. This could be anywhere ranging from $10 up to $100 premiums.

Through clever Internet sleuthing, Videocardz has managed to compile a rather extensive list complete with pricing. It’s found eight custom RTX 4070 Super 12GB models, two RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB variants, and one RTX 4080 Super 16GB powerhouse across Newegg and Best Buy.

Gigabyte, PNY, and Zotac have managed to hit the RTX 4070 Super MSRP mark with their custom WindForce OC, Verto OC, and Twin Edge models, respectively. Meanwhile, MSI has several options exceeding that base level with a premium hike ranging from $10 up to $50. These include the MSI Ventus 2X OC at $609.99, and the Gaming X Slim at $649.99. Mind you, Gigabyte’s Gaming OC variant also demands a $50 premium.

Moving up a tier, Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 4070 Ti Super costs you an additional $50 over MSRP at $849. However, the most expensive variant so far arrives in the form of the MSI Ventus 3X OC, priced at $899.99. Finally, a custom MSI Ventus 3X OC RTX 4080 Super costs $1,099.99, signalling another $100 premium over the Founders edition.

Videocardz used a workaround method to extract these prices, and the cards are listed for pre-order or ‘coming soon’. Nvidia is lifting the sales embargo on the RTX 4070 Super, 4070 Ti Super, and 4080 Super on January 17, January 24, and January 31, respectively.

Thankfully, you won’t have to wait too long to read our thoughts on it all. The definitive Club386 review comes out tomorrow, January 16. Mark your calendars, folks.
