TeamGroup has launched a range of 256GB DDR5 memory kits targeting gamers and content creators. Joining the T-Force and T-Create families, these kits offer demanding users the maximum capacity they can get on AMD’s AM5 platforms without sacrificing performance.
The T-Force and T-Create have been developed in close collaboration with motherboard manufacturers to ensure a balance between stable and efficient operation, all while delivering solid latencies. The brand has validated these kits on the latest X870 platform, using Asus’ ROG Strix X870-F Gaming WiFi motherboard and AMD’s Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, where they remained stable under a long stress test.

The T-Force LAB series targets gamers with its unusual shape and flashy RGB lighting, offering the high speed needed to boost gaming performance. This kit is comprised of four 64GB modules, totalling 256GB, running at 6,000MT/s CL32. While some Ryzen processors can run dual-DIMM 6,400MT/s memory, here we are talking about a quad-module kit, filling all the available slots on consumer boards.
For those unfamiliar, filling all slots comes with a couple of trade-offs. The CPU’s memory controller can feel the strain, and the motherboard’s traces require better shielding to maintain stable signals between the CPU and memory slots. Both of these can impact the maximum speed possible, hence the general preference for dual-module kits.

Nevertheless, TeamGroup’s validation screenshot lists this kit as DDR5-6400, indicating that it may be able to overclock to 6,400MT/s if your system can handle it. The kit is also reported by CPU-Z as containing XMP 3.0 profiles, in addition to EXPO for AMD platforms, meaning that it should work just fine on Intel platforms. Either way, maximum performance can be enabled with a single click.

In complete styling contrast, the T-Create Expert is aimed at creators, with a focus on stability and reliability. Thus, in order to keep professional machines running without hiccups, this kit drops the speed a tad to 5,600MT/s at looser CL42 timings. This makes it a robust solution for demanding workloads such as video editing and 3D rendering, where intensive and extended operation is the norm. You don’t want your 12-hour rendering to fail at 99% because of an unstable speed.
The new T-Force and T-Create 256GB DDR5 memory kits are scheduled for global release in early September 2025. While the brand didn’t share pricing, you can expect a hefty one for such capacity, likely around the $800 mark.
