New graphics cards beget new drivers, but the release of RX 9060 XT will prove a boon to all RX 9000 Series owners thanks to a swathe of support for FSR 4 in more games. There are other welcome changes that come part and parcel with AMD Software Adrenalin Edition 25.6.1.
Our RX 9070 XT review highlights how impressive FSR 4 is in terms of image quality but it’s only useful when it’s available. Its relative lack of availability has prompted criticism from us and other outlets, but it seems AMD is taking this feedback to heart. AMD Software Adrenalin Edition 25.6.1 helps plug the gap between Nvidia DLSS by bringing Team Red’s new upscaler to another 14 games.
Fresh additions to the list include F1 25, Runescape: Dragonwilds, and Stellar Blade. Meanwhile, legacy titles such as Frostpunk 2, Lords of the Fallen, and Star Wars Outlaws help bulk up the entries. Here’s the full list of games getting FSR 4 support via AMD Software Adrenalin Edition 25.6.1:
- Deadzone: Rogue
- F1 25
- Frostpunk 2
- Legacy: Steel & Sorcery
- Lords of the Fallen
- Planetaries
- QANGA
- Rem Survival
- Runescape: Dragonwilds
- Star Wars Outlaws
- Steel Seed
- Stellar Blade
- Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O
- Wild Assault
This brings the total number of games with FSR 4 support up to 57, with 10 more on the way and a further eight in the technical preview stage. Note that you can bring the upscaling technology to even more titles via AMD Software providing they’re running FSR 3.1. In any case, it’s great to see Radeon closing the gap on GeForce.
Though AMD Software Adrenalin Edition 25.6.1 brings plenty of improvements, there are some problems that future updates should resolve. You can check out the full list of known issues by visiting the official release notes page, which also includes details on improvements to Radeon Boost and more.
