AOC has marked its return to Gamescom with two new QD-OLED gaming monitors, featuring 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios. Both the AOC Agon Pro AGP346UCSD and AGP497UCZD will launch in September 2026, each retailing for €999. The former packs all the latest QD-OLED innovations into a 34in ultrawide panel, while the other monitor operates with a much larger pixel count across a 49in screen.
Focusing on the AGP346UCSD, this monitor packs one of the latest QD-OLED panels, marrying its 3440×1440 (UWQHD) resolution with a butter-smooth 360Hz refresh rate. Beyond those prime specifications, though, the 1800R curved screen is also brighter than prior-generation offerings, with enough nits to achieve DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification.
Importantly, the panel in play also rids the AGP346UCSD of text fringing artefacts, as it will feature an ‘RGB Stripe’ subpixel layout, replacing the problematic triangular structure that plagues older monitors. You can also expect better ambient light rejection and durability from the screen’s glossy finish, thanks to AOC’s Anti-Reflection 3.0 coating.
There’s a decent range of connections in play on this monitor too. AOC has packed three USB-A ports and a single USB-C input onto the AGP346UCSD, alongside DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 ports. There’s even a built-in KVM switch, making it easy to share peripherals across multiple PCs connected to the display.
Moving to the AGP497UCZD, this enormous monitor runs at 240Hz while providing the same screen real estate as two QHD monitor sans a dividing bezel. This design is ideal for games that demand an expansive display, such as racing simulators, open-world titles, and more.
Samsung Display is yet to debut a 5120×1440 (DQHD) panel using its latest QD-OLED tech, but the AGP497UCZD still provides the best specifications for its size. That includes DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, which will still provide a punchy HDR experience and reasonable SDR brightness.
Like the AGP346UCSD, this monitor also features a welcome assortment of ports. Both DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR20) and HDMI 2.1 are ready to go, alongside three USB-A inputs and two USB-C ports. One of the latter supports 90W power delivery, making it possible to enjoy a single cable connection between your laptop and the screen, while also enjoying the benefits of a KVM.
In addition to these monitors, AOC will also be showcasing its dual-mode Agon Pro AGP277QKDC monitor, alongside its Agon Pro AG276QSG2 G-Sync Pulsar display. There’s the Agon Pro CS24A as well, which is a Counter-Strike 2-themed esports display featuring a 610Hz TN panel.
