Here’s a great opportunity to upgrade bring your gaming PC into the colourful world of HDR, but without having to worry about burn-in problems. Amazon has just slashed a massive 24% off the usual $329.99 price of an AOC Q27G4ZMN gaming monitor, meaning you can pick up this 240Hz Mini-LED screen for just $249.99.

“Thanks to the implemented Mini-LED technology, this model combines the highest brightness, finest picture quality and best uniformity while still being slimmer than monitors with conventional LED.” – AOC
That’s this screen’s lowest ever price by far, according to Amazon price trackers, with the previous record set at $294.99 back in April 2026. It’s also a bargain for the screen tech on offer.
The big deal here is that Mini-LED backlight, which is made up of 4,608 tiny LEDs, giving the screen 1,152 local dimming zones. This means it can dynamically alter the backlight in over 1,000 individual portions of the screen, giving you high contrast and vibrant colours.
This is what enables it to gain full VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification. Unlike competing, self-emissive OLED screens, however, there’s a standard VA panel in play, and that means you don’t need to worry about burn-in, or text fringing for that matter. At this price, it’s also considerably cheaper than most OLED screens.
That VA panel also really helps with HDR, with deep blacks and high contrast compared to IPS screens. That’s ideal for watching movies and playing epic single-player games, although we’ve also found that VA panels aren’t as responsive as IPS and OLED models when it comes to fast-paced competitive action.
Meanwhile, this screen’s 2560×1440 resolution is ideal for its 27in panel, giving you a much sharper picture than a 1920×1080 screen, but without requiring the huge graphical horsepower to play games at 4K. You also get a 240Hz refresh rate, complete with Adaptive Sync support to eliminate tearing artefacts.
You get a decent selection of port as well, including a DisplayPort 1.4 input and two HDMI 2.0 ports, meaning you can plug a console into this monitor at the same time as your PC. However, you’ll need to use the latter if you want the full 240Hz refresh rate at 2560×1440.
Finally, you get a really flexible stand with the Q27G4ZMN, enabling you pivot the screen into portrait mode if you like, while also giving you 130mm of height adjustment, -5° to 23° of tilt movement, and a -20°-to-20° swivel window.
