Arctic P12 Pro Reverse fans are the perfect match for your fishtank PC

Arctic has announced its P Pro reverse-blade fan series boasting high static pressure and great ARGB lighting, giving your hardware the shine and cooling it deserves. As their name implies, these are reverse versions of their P Pro Series counterparts, offering a subjectively better-looking design that suits bottom and side case intakes. With their blades unobstructed by the hub’s struts, the P Pro Reverse are ideal for today’s fishtanks-style PC cases.

The P12 Pro Reverse are nearly identical to the white reverse-blade P14 Pro A-RGB fans bundled with the brand’s Xtender VG chassis. Aside from their smaller 120mm size and black colour, they have the same transparent reverse blades that let the RGB shine through, surrounded by a funnel-shaped inlet said to be optimised for reduced turbulence, which results in a higher airflow and lower noise.

Arctic claims that the series boasts a minimal gap between the blades’ ring and the frame, helping it ensure quiet, efficient, and long-lasting performance. Speaking of which, the brand advertises up to 73cfm of airflow and 4.5mmH2O static pressure at the fan’s maximum 3,000rpm speed. Understandably, you can’t have both high airflow and high pressure at the same time, so performance will differ based on your usage.

In case you were planning to hook a bunch of these to a liquid-cooling radiator, keep in mind that each is 27mm thick, which is slightly porkier than regular fans. This could cause clearance issues in some cases, especially if you intend to install a radiator in a push-pull configuration. Other than that, installation should be a breeze thanks to their built-in daisy-chaining 4-pin and RGB connectors.

Due to logistics, the P12 Pro Reverse and P14 Pro Reverse launch is staggered, with white and non-RGB models coming in the following weeks, including:
