Gigabyte has added a new micro-ATX motherboard to its Aorus Stealth range, offering a cable-free view over your components, alongside the latest quality of life features. As with previous boards in this series, the B850M Aorus Stealth relocated all its power, SATA, and fan connectors to the back, removing visual clutter from the front side, while improving air circulation.
The B850M Aorus Stealth joins the white B850 Aorus Stealth Ice in Gigabyte’s lineup, but with a black colour scheme and in a smaller micro-ATX format. This new version uses a very similar layout, despite its size difference, including the dual PCIe slots and triple M.2 connectors, so you don’t lose much by going for the smaller board. However, bear in mind that both boards require a compatible chassis with cable cutouts in the correct locations.
We had the chance to see the board in the flesh at Computex 2026, and it looks very smart indeed, so it’s good to see it’s now being officially released.

Like all AM5 boards, the B850M Aorus Stealth supports AMD’s Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 processors, powered by a small but sufficient 8+2+2 60A VRM set. While this power delivery system isn’t built to claim world records, it should be capable of handling any existing Ryzen CPU, as long as you’re not overclocking it. Gigabyte also advertises its X3D Turbo Mode, it says enhances gaming performance on Ryzen 9000 CPUs by up to 18%.
CPU aside, the B850M Aorus Stealth offers four UDIMM slots supporting up to DDR5-8200 memory in capacities up to 256GB. There are also two full-size PCIe slots – one running at Gen 5.0 x16 plus, and one at Gen 4.0 x4. Meanwhile, the three M.2 slots can handle one Gen 5 x4 SSD running at full speed, while offering two Gen 4.0 x4 slots. Note that depending on the CPU series (Ryzen 8000, for example), the main PCIe speed can drop to PCIe Gen 4.0 x4 mode. The same goes for the M.2 SSD slots.

The main PCIe and M.2 slots both come equipped with Gigabyte’s EZ-latch mechanisms, which make installation and maintenance easier than ever. That means you don’t need to fiddle about with a tiny screw when installing an SSD, while the heatsink clicks into place. You also don’t need to worry about scraping your fingers when removing your graphics card. These DIY friendly capabilities extend even to the rear I/O panel, where you can find EZ-plug Wi-Fi antenna sockets, and quick-access buttons for power, reset, BIOS-flash, and clear-CMOS functions.
On the back of the board, you will find all the power and fan connectors, including the case’s 10Gb/s USB-C front panel connector, 8-pin CPU power socket, and two SATA 6Gb/s ports. The board also comes equipped with a nice-looking backplate, though you won’t see it again after installation.

In terms of connections, you will find a nice complement of USB ports, including one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, and a USB-A socket with the same standard. Meanwhile, four USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and four USB 2.0 sockets give you plenty of room to plug in peripherals. These are joined by HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, as well as 5GbE LAN and Wi-Fi 7 connectors.
Gigabyte hasn’t shared pricing for the B850M Aorus Stealth yet, but it’s likely to be priced similarly to the £268 B850 Aorus Stealth Ice, given the similarities in specs.
