Asus has announced the TUF Gaming RX 9070 XT Call of Duty Black Ops 7 edition graphics card featuring a custom paint job and GPU holder. Made in collaboration with AMD and Call of Duty, this limited-edition card blends the performance of RDNA 4 graphics with the military style of COD, resulting in a unique-looking collector’s item. As such, this model will only be available in limited quantities.
The first thing you will notice with the TUF Gaming RX 9070 XT Call of Duty Black Ops 7 edition card is its game-inspired topographic map, which covers the entire card. The central fan hub and the back plate also feature Black Ops 7 insignia alongside some orange accents, giving it a more aggressive look. Even the LED present on the side of the card is adequately configured to display an orange colour to suit the overall style.

The part I like the most is the war-worn blue fan rings, which give a battle-hardened feel. I believe this card won’t have any issue convincing COD fans, especially those planning to get the latest installment planned for November 14, as each of the limited 1,000 units comes bundled with a digital copy of Black Ops 7. But that’s not all, owners will also find a customised GPU holder in the box, ensuring the card is secured in style.

Asus claims this model maintains low noise levels while providing proper GPU cooling, thanks to its triple-slot, triple-fan cooling system. There is even a 0dB mode, which stops the fans under low load, ensuring complete silence outside of gaming. Those who would like to further tune this behaviour for improved cooling or acoustics can do so using the brand’s GPU Tweak III software, which also doubles as an overclocking and monitoring tool.

Performance-wise, it should deliver the same performance as any other RX 9070 XT 16GB, maybe slightly faster depending on factory or manual overclocking. Its performance is suitable for 4K and high-refresh-rate 1440p gaming. Specifically for Black Ops 7, the card should deliver around 203fps at 1440p and 116fps at 4K using the Extreme preset plus Quality FSR upscaling.
Considering the regular TUF Gaming RX 9070 XT’s £659.99 price tag, I expect this special edition to ask for at least £750 as it includes a copy of the game in addition to its unique paint job. The card will be sold worldwide through select retailers, so get ready to snag one quickly if you care, because there won’t be enough for everyone.
