Hopes for Arc B770 reignite as new Intel GPU packaging pops up in shipping manifests

Where there's packaging, a product can't be far behind.

After a steady stream of rumours earlier this year that suggested Intel was gearing up to launch Arc B770, there’s been nary a peep from the brand or rumour mill on the graphics card. However, fresh leaks have just emerged that suggest the long-anticipated pixel pusher could be closer than ever.

X user Haze2K1 highlighted a shipping manifest from June 2025 that flew under the radar, containing references to packaging likely destined for Arc B770. More specifically, we’re talking corrugated white boxes and plastic associated with ‘Intel VGA G31/C32’.

These boxes measure in at 390mm x189mm x 83mm, closely matching ones used by BMG-G21 GPUs, i.e. Arc B580 and B570. Should Intel follow suit with previous release patterns, packaging for the former GPU broke cover around two-and-a-half months prior to launch (as mango_raw highlights).

This would place a potential release in September 2025, which seems highly unlikely. However, this could serve as indication that Arc B770 will hit store shelves imminently, during Q4 2025 at least. Such timing would give intel some breathing room before a potential GeForce RTX 50 Super Series refresh hits the scene.

Intel has remain tight-lipped about Arc B770, but has responded positively when press and punters have pressed the manufacturer on the existence of the card. Such teasing and messaging can’t be for naught?

While Arc B770 specifications are far from set in stone, prior leaks suggest the graphics card will sport 32 Xe cores. This would make for a 60% increase from BMG-G21, but it’s unclear how this would translate in real-performance terms.

Rumours also claim that Arc B770 will have 16GB of GDDR6(X) VRAM and a 256-bit bus at its disposal. This could make the card competitive with the likes of Radeon RX 9070, but price will ultimately decide who the pixel pusher’s main foes are. Here’s hoping we hear something from Intel soon.
