The first Intel processor generation to incorporate an Nvidia iGPU will reportedly be its forthcoming Serpent Lake lineup. According to often-reliable Intel leaker @jaykihn0 on X, Serpent Lake will be a branch of Titan Lake, with the key differentiating factor being the use of a dedicated Nvidia GeForce RTX GPU tile instead of an in-house Arc graphics design.
Though the prospect of Intel CPUs packing Nvidia GPUs may have sounded ridiculous a couple of years ago, back in September 2025, as part of a joint silicon collaboration, Nvidia invested $5 billion in Intel common stock, transforming Nvidia into a minority shareholder in Intel, while giving the latter access to GeForce GPU tech. Future collaborations include x86 SoCs for personal computing with integrated Nvidia RTX GPU chiplets/tiles, and custom CPUs for Nvidia’s data centre and AI infrastructure platforms.
If today’s rumour is correct, the first collaboration should materialise under the Serpent Lake chip series, which is said to integrate a dedicated Nvidia GeForce RTX GPU tile. While it is unclear if this integration will use Nvidia NVLink or Intel EMIB (Embedded Multi-die Interconnect Bridge) for CPU-to-GPU communication, we’re hoping for a substantial performance increase compared to existing Arc implementations.

While Intel continues its advancement in graphics architectures, partnering with Nvidia to make a high-end SoC should give it a stronger push to counter AMD’s Halo-series products, possibly offering RTX 60-class features in a compact, low-power package. An integrated GeForce GPU would also give Intel access to Nvidia’s advanced ray tracing capabilities, as well as DLSS upscaling.
If this leak turns out to be accurate, such a lineup of Intel chips could mean the end of budget discrete GPUs, allowing the creation of gaming laptops that are both thin and power-efficient. High-end laptops with dedicated 80 or 90-class GPUs are likely to remain an option for enthusiasts, but if this first experience turns out positive, we may start seeing large iGPU integrations.
At the moment, no specific product has been officially announced, and leaks still lack precise specs and performance figures. That said, based on existing roadmaps and rumours, Serpent Lake should release in 2028 or 2029. Before that time comes to pass, Intel is expected to launch Nova Lake in late 2026 and Razer Lake-AX in 2027.
