Mark your calendars, as CES 2028 seems the likely date for the official reveal of Intel processors featuring Nvidia GeForce RTX integrated graphics, should this new rumour hold water. These same whispers also suggest that the CPUs should launch not long after, within the first three months of the year.
For those out of the loop, Nvidia bought a $5B stake in Intel in September 2025. Following that stock purchase, the two companies announced plans to manufacture Intel CPUs with Nvidia RTX graphics. While the firms have remained largely quiet on their collaboration since, progress on the project is continuing behind closed doors.

According to Erdi Özüağ, former editor of tech site DonanimHaber, the current alleged Intel roadmap places the target launch for this project (codenamed Serpent Lake) in Q1 2028. Özüağ shared this claim on X, also stating that CES 2028 could serve as the platform for its launch.
We know from Intel and Nvidia’s initial announcement that these processors will be available across consumer and enterprise markets. However, any indication of models, pricing, or any other technical specification remains unknown at this point, even at the rumour level.
Prior leaks have described the architecture as a branch of Titan Lake, differentiating itself through the use of an Nvidia RTX GPU tile. Given current estimations plant the latter’s release in 2028, this gives some credence to ÖzüaÄŸ’s claims.
For the moment, Intel is focused on the launch of its Arc G3 handheld platform, with its desktop Nova Lake processors likely to follow in early 2027. Meanwhile, Nvidia just launched its RTX Spark SoC for mobile systems, and apparently plans to bring the GeForce RTX 50 Super series to market after all. Suffice to say, both companies have plenty going on leading up to this potential 2028 launch.
