MSI has announced its Prestige N16 Flip AI+, powered by Nvidia’s RTX Spark platform. With up to 128GB of unified memory, this 2-in-1 laptop enables AI agents and LLMs (large language models) to run locally, keeping your data secure and private while reducing response latency.
Designed to seamlessly shift between AI, productivity, and gaming workloads, the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ offers a comprehensive feature list, powered by an Nvidia RTX Spark setup. It combines Nvidia’s Blackwell graphics architecture with a Grace Arm CPU and enough memory to run up to 120 billion-parameter AI models, enabling deeper context windows and complex agentic AI workflows directly on device. According to MSI, this combination provides up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance, all inside a 1.9kg chassis with modest 357.7 x 254.3 x 13.9-16.9mm dimensions.

Inside, we find an Nvidia N1X processor, available in two variants: an 18-core Arm CPU coupled with 5,120 CUDA cores (GPU) or a 20-core Arm CPU with 6,144 CUDA cores, both bundled with 1TB of Gen 4 NVMe storage and a 99Wh battery. The latter is equivalent to the desktop GeForce RTX 5070, which also has 6,144 CUDA cores, though at a higher 250W power budget, and with dedicated GDDR7 VRAM. For reference, the N1X only gets 45W-80W, shared between the CPU and GPU. In short, a desktop RTX 5070 will be faster in tasks that don’t take advantage of the N1X’s massive memory pool.
That said, many of those opting for the N1X will do so for its large memory capacity, reaching up to 128GB of unified LPDDR5x on the MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+. Understandably, if your tasks don’t require this much RAM, you can always opt for a cheaper model, with MSI listing at least three variants packing 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB.
With 128GB of memory at disposal, multiple local agentic workloads become possible, allowing professionals to work with sensitive data locally without worrying about leaking it. Plus, depending on usage frequency, a locally accelerated AI setup could end up being cheaper to run compared to cloud-based options, all while reacting faster to inputs, as there’s reduced latency.

Beyond its AI capabilities, the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ can also be a great productivity and gaming laptop, accelerating video editing and 3D rendering thanks to CUDA, while boosting frame rates and image quality in games using DLSS and ray tracing. Meanwhile, Windows on Arm has improved a lot since early laptops, and it now offers strong x86 software emulation on top of native Arm app support.
Build-wise, MSI is offering two main variants, one sporting a 16in UHD+ (3840×2400) Tandem OLED panel and another equipped with a 16in 2.8K (2880×1800) OLED screen. Both are VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certified and capable of reaching a 120Hz refresh rate. MSI claims the screens offer 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage and a Delta E <1 colour accuracy. The company also advertises touchscreen support plus a bundled pen, as well as a 360° hinge that allows the device to switch between laptop, tent, and tablet modes on the fly.

In terms of connections, we find two USB 4 Type-C ports (supporting DP Alt mode, Power Delivery, and Thunderbolt 4) as well as two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports. There’s also an HDMI 2.1 output, an SD (XC/HC) card reader, plus a 3.5mm combo audio jack. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 are available too, as well as a Windows Hello 30fps FHD webcam and fingerprint reader.
The MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ is now available through MSI official stores and authorised retailers. The 32GB model is listed at £3,099, the 64GB at £4,099, and the 128GB at £6,499.
