be quiet! offers sneak peek at Pure Base 803 PC cases

There's plenty to admire in these early iterations of the Pure Base 803, to the point we wish that 2027 launch window was much earlier.

While be quiet!’s new Pure Base 803 PC case series isn’t quite ready for primetime, the company couldn’t wait to show off some prototype designs at its Computex 2026 booth.

The Pure Base 803 series arrives in two flavours. While the base model prioritises airflow and expandability, the Pure Base 803 LX tips the scales in favour of aesthetics with tempered glass side panels and A-RGB fans.

In both versions of the case, be quiet! places the PSU shroud up top, but the sheer depth of the chassis means the metal casing doesn’t peek out too much into the main chamber. We’re also a big fan of the metal cable management sleeve, keeping the build neat and tidy.

In the Pure Base 803, be quiet! creates cutouts for up to seven hard drive caddies. These float behind the front intake fans, providing ample cooling for your spinning disk storage for greater longevity and performance.

There’s a pleasing amount of space in each case, with enough room to support three 140mm fans up front/side. We also saw another three 140mm blowers on the chassis floor, in addition to two exhausts, and a radiator up top.

The Base 803 also has a cool party trick up its proverbial sleeve in the form of movable front I/O. You can choose to install the power button, 3.5mm output, and USB ports either on the face or top of the case.

For now, this requires a screwdriver, but I’d love to see be quiet! make this a toolless experience. Regardless, it’s a great feature that’ll make the decision between placing your PC case under or on your desk that much easier.

As a reminder, these are early prototypes, so final designs are subject to change but we like what we see right now. Expect to see more of the Pure Base 803 series in 2027.
