MSI has unveiled an exclusive product lineup embellished with detailed dragon artistry, inspired by Draco, the dragon that guarded the golden apples in Greek mythology. Celebrating the brand’s 40th anniversary, the Draco Epic Edition includes nearly every part you would need to build a new PC, be it the motherboard, graphics card, or even mouse pad. Let me dig in.
First showcased at Computex 2026, the Draco Epic Edition lineup is now getting a full reveal ahead of availability. All products feature drawings of either the Draco dragon or the star constellation representing it, in addition to suitably coloured accents and RGB lighting effects. The entire stack begs to be combined together for the ultimate Draco build, especially the motherboard and GPU combo. Without further ado, here is the full list of Draco Epic Edition hardware and peripherals.
MSI MEG X870E Ace Max Draco Epic Edition
The MEG X870E Ace Max Draco Epic Edition is a custom version of the MEG X870E Ace Max AM5 motherboard, topped with a fantastic dark-blue colour and Draco art. All heatsinks are customised, though the Wi-Fi antenna keeps its generic black plastic. In terms of specs, the board offers the latest features you would expect from a premium modern platform, including Gen 5 PCIe for graphics and M.2 storage, USB 4 connectivity, 10GbE and 5GbE dual LAN, plus Wi-Fi 7. In total, you will find no fewer than nine USB Type-A plus four USB Type-C, in addition to the latest advancements in quick-installation mechanisms.
MSI GeForce RTX 5080 16G Suprim Draco Epic Edition
The RTX 5080 16G Suprim Draco Epic Edition is based on the RTX 5080 16G Suprim card, once more offering distinct art on all sides. The front comes augmented with constellation-inspired art, plus a 40th anniversary text on the side near the RGB-lit Suprim logo. But it’s in the back where the party is happening, where we find a detailed dragon drawing that fills most of the etched and anodised back plate. This is clearly a card that you wouldn’t want to install in a vertical mount, as this would hide the most unique section.
In terms of specs, you can expect the same performance as any RTX 5080, especially compared to an MSI Suprim model. MSI advertises 2,760MHz boost clock and a so-called 2,775MHz Extreme Performance via its Center app. There are no special power or overclocking capabilities. It’s all about the looks and premium build quality. Since the fan and cooler assembly are also unchanged, you can expect identical temperatures to the regular RTX 5080 Suprim.
MSI MEG Coreliquid E15 Draco Epic Edition
Like the rest of the lineup, the MEG Coreliquid E15 Draco Epic Edition features deep blue and star motifs all over the fan and radiator assembly, alongside custom aluminium laser engraving and artwork on the water block. The latter is said to use highly transparent glass plus a printing technology that gives the dragon’s art a profound, three-dimensional depth, all while being scratch-resistant. The uni-body fan frame also looks high-quality, with constellation traces represented on its fan hubs.
Regardless, the part that you will most likely see is the built-in LCD screen that hides the pump from view. This 6.67in curved OLED display boasts a Dragon startup and standby animation designed specifically for this 40th Anniversary edition.
MSI MEG Ai1600T PCIE5 Draco Epic Edition
The MEG Ai1600T PCIE5 Draco Epic Edition is the least eye-catching out of the bunch, in my opinion, as it mainly offers custom Draco art on the side. The cables are standard, and apart from some scratch patterns around the fan and a dragon logo on the hub, the rest is basic black like most PSUs. This isn’t a big deal however as most cases hide the PSU anyway, and the few that show it only give a glimpse at the side that features the Draco art on this model.
Other than this, you get a premium PSU capable of delivering 1,600W of power all while remaining highly efficient going by the 80 Plus Titanium rating. MSI also advertises Cybenetics Lambda A++ certification for exceptionally quiet operation. Like the regular MEG Ai1600T PCIE5, you get two 12V-2×6 connectors, bundled with two colour-coded 12V-2×6 cables.
MSI MEG Maestro 900R Draco Epic Edition
The MEG Maestro 900R Draco Epic Edition, meanwhile, is the perfect choice to fit all the above inside, thanks to its triple-glass design that gives you a clear view over your components from all sides. Once more, the flashy gold and grey accents of the original have been swapped for deep-blue hues, though without any Draco art this time around. I would have preferred something a bit more special, but hey, the case is already unique as is.
Beyond its refined exterior, the MEG Maestro 900R Draco Epic Edition features a centred motherboard layout and a four-way rotatable motherboard tray, giving you more freedom when configuring a custom build. And customise you can, thanks to its support for up to E-ATX motherboards, 440mm-long graphics cards, and triple-fan 360mm/dual-420mm radiator support.
MSI Gaming Gear Bundle Draco Epic Edition
Furthermore, the Draco Epic Edition gear bundle complements the brand’s anniversary lineup with a set of peripherals, including a mouse, keyboard, and mouse pad. The Versa Wireless 8K Draco Epic Edition mouse combines lightweight comfort and precise control with convenient and performant 8K polling wireless connectivity, inside a nice frame designed for a wide range of hand sizes.
The Strike Wireless 8K HE Draco Epic Edition keyboard uses Hall Effect switches covered with Draco art on the keycaps, slotted inside a CNC-machined aluminium chassis. Like this mouse, this keyboard is wireless and features super-fast 8K polling. Lastly, the Agility Draco Epic Edition offers a smooth 900x400mm surface for your mouse movements, topped by constellation art.
MSI Maestro Wireless Draco Epic Edition
Last but not least, the Maestro Wireless Draco Epic Edition headset supports 2.4GHz and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless audio as well as a 3.5mm wired connection. As such, it can run on pretty much any platform, be it PC, console, or smartphone. Thanks to its gentle curves, overall sober design, and active noise cancellation, it’s suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. MSI claims up to 90 hours of playback using Bluetooth and 60 hours using the 2.4GHz dongle. Phew, that’s a lot of products.
Unfortunately, MSI didn’t share pricing or exact availability dates for any of these products, only stating that they will soon be available in limited quantities.
