AMD has released a new round of Radeon GPU drivers with its Software Adrenalin Edition 26.1.1 WHQL suite, adding support for its new Ryzen AI 400 mobile CPUs and plenty of game-related fixes. This latest update is also the first version to introduce an AI bundle, which lets developers and students install multiple AI tools with just a single click.
This 34GB bundle simplifies AI software integration by automatically installing essential tools for AI development and creative workflows. Inside, you’ll find PyTorch on Windows for building and training models from scratch. You also get ComfyUI for stable diffusion workflows, such as image and video generation – accelerated by AMD ROCm. Meanwhile, Ollama is there for large language models, and you get Amuse for text-to-image generation. Thankfully, this bundle is completely optional, meaning you’re not forced to install it if you only care about gaming optimisations or bug fixes. You just have to uncheck the box during installation.

For those who don’t care about local AI, this update debuts support for AMD’s new Ryzen AI 400 processors, specifically their built-in RDNA 3.5 iGPUs, plus two new games: Starsand Island and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora – From the Ashes Edition. The latter bundles the base game with the expansion/DLC.
Lastly, this update brings multiple fixes related to incorrect shadows rendering in Black Ops 7, texture corruption in Enshrouded, launch failures in Diablo IV, incorrect light rendering in Flight Simulator 2024, and visual artifacts in Baldur’s Gate 3, just to name a few. Note that many of these fixes apply to old hardware, such as the Radeon RX 5000 series, which is welcome, since these ageing GPUs tend to be left aside.
AMD says it’s also aware of other issues that it plans to fix in future updates, including crashes/driver timeouts when loading a save in Cyberpunk 2077, or playing Battlefield 6 and Roblox Player (car zone racing and drifting).
The AMD Software Adrenalin Edition 26.1.1 driver can be downloaded (908MB) via AMD’s website or the driver’s update section.
