Sapphire has introduced a new version of its Nitro+ Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card, featuring art from the upcoming game Valor Mortis. This new special edition keeps the Nitro+ OC’s great design and specs, and also includes a copy of the game, redeemable through AMDRewards.com.
Sapphire teamed up with AMD and One More Level, the studio behind Ghostrunner as well as this new title to launch the Nitro+ AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Valor Mortis Edition. Like the Crimson Desert graphics card released previously, it features art inspired by the game on its Quick Connect MagniPlate backplate and fan hubs.

The card also features addressable RGB lighting on the side, which you can customise to fit the unique paint job. Plus, thanks to the Nitro+’s stealthy design, which hides the 12V-2×6 power connector and cable from view using a magnetic back plate, you can admire the fancy lights and backplate art without obstruction. Sapphire has also bundled a 12V-2×6 to triple-8-pin adapter with the card, for those still rocking older PSUs.

Spec-wise, the Nitro+ Radeon RX 9070 XT Valor Mortis is identical to the classic 9070 XT Nitro+ OC models, offering a RDNA 4 GPU with 64 compute units clocked at up to 3,060MHz, alongside 16GB of 20Gbps GDDR6 memory linked via a 256-bit bus. This new version uses the same 3.2-slot cooler design too, with the whole card measuring 330.8 x 128.5 x 65.68mm.
We found this triple-fan cooler worked really well in our tests, capable of maintaining the slightly down-clocked Nitro+ Radeon RX 9070 XT (non-OC) at 59°C, while only producing 36dB even under load, making for a cool and quiet card.

Regarding the game, Valor Mortis is a first-person Soulslike from One More Level, set to release on October 13, 2026. It takes you into a gruesome alternate 19th-century Europe, with horror, supernatural forces, and war present at every step. Ravaged by a mysterious, corrupting plague and the aftermath of the Napoleonic Wars, you get to discover a world filled with horrifying monsters while unravelling a conspiracy that threatens all of humanity.
You play as a soldier of the Grande Armée brought back from the grave, capable of wielding both physical weapons, such as swords or pistols, while also having supernatural abilities. Like other Soulslike titles, stamina management is critical to victory.
The Nitro+ RX 9070 XT Valor Mortis will be available later in October 2026 from select retailers, although Sapphire has yet to reveal pricing.
