Nvidia has lowered the price of multiple GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards, mainly its home-made Founders Edition models. Depending on the country, users can benefit from nearly a 10% discount on their RTX GPU purchases, making them more appealing than before. Though, Nvidia has yet to restock its stores to make this price reduction a reality.
The GeForce RTX 50 Series has gradually shifted its pricing toward more reasonable territories following the exorbitantly priced initial availability. Today marks another step down that ladder as Nvidia has once again dropped prices by around 10%. Unfortunately, not all models are concerned by this change, which mainly includes the brands’ Founders Editions of the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and RTX 5070. Still, it’s a welcome change, which should make the lineup more competitive against AMD’s aggressive value offerings.
In the EU, specifically Germany, the RTX 50 Series prices are now as follows – including VAT:
- RTX 5090 at €2,099 – previously €2,329, i.e. 9.8% cheaper
- RTX 5080 at €1,059 – previously €1,169, i.e. 9.4% cheaper
- RTX 5070 at €589 – previously €649, i.e. 9.2% cheaper
The RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5060 Ti, and RTX 5060 remain unchanged at €879, €399, and €319, respectively.
In the UK, the RTX 50 Series is now listed as follows:
- RTX 5090 at £1,799 – against £1,939 MSRP at launch, i.e. 7.2% cheaper
- RTX 5080 at £909 – against £979 MSRP at launch, i.e. 7.1% cheaper
- RTX 5070 at £499 – against £539 MSRP at launch, i.e. 7.4% cheaper
Once more, the RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5060 Ti, and RTX 5060 remain unchanged at £729, £349, and £274, respectively.
Now, while Nvidia has already updated its EU and UK stores with these revised prices, in many instances, there is no stock to speak of, meaning that you may not be able to grab one immediately. The good news is that this doesn’t look like a temporary discount, thus you could wait for restocks without worrying.
On that subject, note that Nvidia has just introduced its Priority Access program to the UK, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy. This program allows you to apply to purchase an RTX 50-series Founders Edition graphics card directly from Nvidia, sparing you from tracking restock announcements. When your desired GPU becomes available, you will be contacted, giving you the option to buy it at the official MSRP. To apply, you simply need an Nvidia account.
