AMD may be planning another Radeon GPU price hike in November

We have seemingly reached a level of inflation; even price stagnation would sound like good news now.

AMD is seemingly preparing yet another price increase for its GPU-plus-memory bundles provided to graphics card makers. According to a new report from industry insiders related through Chinese platform ChannelGate, AMD could further increase its prices in November, but the exact amount is yet to be determined.

Since December 2025, AMD has reportedly been increasing prices for the Radeon GPU and GDDR6 memory bundles it supplies to its board partners. Unfortunately, as memory shortages became more severe throughout 2026, these increases apparently kept on coming, the latest of which is expected to happen next month. According to a source on ChannelGate, as GDDR6 memory prices grew by 8% to 10% in Q3 2026, AMD has decided to raise its bundle prices in November, following a previous hike in October.

This is not surprising. Like any business, AMD is seemingly passing these cost increases to its board partners, which in turn will pass them to the consumer. In other words, Radeon graphics cards are set for another price hike.

AMD Radeon GPU price hike rumour.

Hardware Unboxed on YouTube has been following graphics card prices for months by now, and has recorded several hikes through the year. The channel’s latest survey shows that graphics card prices have increased by 11% month-on-month, averaged among ten countries.

And that’s if you could even find one to begin with, as many models were out of stock in the UK and other countries. The most impacted Radeon GPU was the RX 9060 XT 16GB, which saw its price jump by 17%. Needless to say, these are some scary numbers, especially considering that they add to the previous 7% increase in September, and 15% in August.

Understandably, this situation isn’t limited to AMD’s Radeon GPU lineup. Intel’s Arc B and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 50 series are also suffering from the same inflated prices and low availability. Heck, there are even reports that Nvidia is outright stopping supply of RTX 5090 GPU + GDDR7 bundles.

It’s a tough time to find the right GPU to buy in these times, but all is not lost. Check out our newly refreshed guide to buying the best GPU for your needs, which takes current pricing into account.
