Elgato appeals to creators with all-new Neo product line

Elgato is no longer for gamers only.

Elgato Neo series.

Elgato has released a series of white products suited for professionals and workspaces. The lineup covers all the necessary tools needed for video and audio calls including streaming the desktop.

Dubbed Neo, this product family is comprised of the Wave Neo mic, Facecam Neo webcam, Key Light Neo LED light, Game Capture Neo capture card, and Stream Deck Neo controller. All come in white with rounded shapes to fit nicely in a professional space. And the best part is, you don’t have to pay extra for this refreshed look.

Wave Neo

Built with sound quality in mind, the Wave Neo focuses on what made Elgato’s mics stand out and packages it inside a modern frame. Thanks to its pop filter and Wave Link app customisability users can tune their voice to sound as they like while reducing unwanted noises.

Moreover, thanks to its plug-and-play nature, you simply connect the USB cable to your machine and start recording. Aside from Windows machines, the Wave Neo also supports Mac, iPad, iPhone, and even PlayStation consoles. The Wave Neo is available at £89.99/$89.99/€99.99.

Facecam Neo

Also plug-and-play, the Facecam Neo is a quality webcam that runs right away, no software needed. Capable of recording up to Full HD HDR at 60fps, this camera should be enough for most users. Thanks to its rounded shape and white colour you can leave it connected all the time without looking out of place. And to keep your privacy, the Facecam Neo features a physical shutter.

Those wanting more can install the Camera Hub app which offers advanced customisablity, with settings akin to a DSLR. The Facecam Neo is available at £99.99/$99.99/€99,99.

Key Light Neo

If you have ever tried to take pictures or use face chat apps, you probably know how good lighting can change the look of things. So, to help you present in your best light, Elgato offers the Key Light Neo with temperature adjustments from 2,900K to 7,000K. Additionally, you can tune brightness to your liking in order to have a comfortable experience. These settings can also be adjusted via the Control Center app on PC, mobile devices, and Stream Deck.

Elgato Key Light Neo.

The Key Light Neo is powered by USB, but can shine even brighter when connected to a wall outlet, boosting it up to 1,000 lumens, according to Elgato. The Key Light Neo is available at £89.99/$89.99/€99.99.

Game Capture Neo

If you ask your friends about Elgato, they will probably think of its Stream Deck or capture cards. With the Game Capture Neo, the brand is keeping its focus on high-quality video recordings without introducing additional lag. While not the best model in Elgato’s roster, this capture card should satisfy most users thanks to its 1080p 60fps recording and 4K 60fps passthrough. All inside a small 123mm x 65mm x 20mm box that won’t feel out of place even around the fanciest of setups.

As usual, you will be able to choose any recording app you like, including QuickTime Player and OBS Studio. The Game Capture Neo is available at £119.99/$119.99€129.99.

Stream Deck Neo

I don’t know about you, but when I hear Elgato, the Stream Deck is the first thing that comes to mind. And with this new refreshing design, that won’t change any time soon.

The Stream Deck Neo doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel; instead, it combines what people like about the previous models and puts it inside a streamlined chassis. You can slap an Apple logo on it and sell it for triple the price, most likely. To be more specific, you get eight customisable buttons, an info bar that displays time and date, plus two touch keys for navigation.

You can customise each button through the Stream Deck app on PC and Mac, with options such as mic mute, software launch, music control, and much more. The Stream Deck Neo is available at £99.99/$99.99/€99.99.

Elgato Neo products.

“With Neo, we began with the basic fundamentals that users value most,” said Julian Fest, General Manager of Elgato. “Things like iPad capture, tap to mute, and accessible lighting controls. Then we developed hardware and software around these core needs.”

The Neo product family is available to order online today from Elgato’s store, with availability at major retailers coming soon.
